I am amazed at how well my Apple iPhone leather case has protected my phone. I’ve dropped my phone numerous times and there are a few scuffs on the case but the phone is untouched.

I have the Silicone case for the 12 Pro and I love it. Definitely seems more durable than the silicone case I had for my 6 back in the day. Only thing I hate about the case is the amount of fingerprints and smudges that show up. Might not be a problem as much for the lighter colors, but the Deep Navy silicone case gets very dirty pretty easily and I'm always wiping it down.

I’ve used both silicone and clear cases from Apple. The clear looks nice but doesn’t provide anything. You can never go wrong with the silicone cases. Definitely recommend silicone over clear!

I have the silicon case, and the clear case for my iPhone 11 Pro. The silicon case has held up fine, but the clear case is starting to crack a lil bit on the bottom(also, the clear case isn't as easy to take off as the silicon case is).

I had serious issues with the silicone case with the MagSafe ring. Apple replaces it with a leather one which is a million times better. No ring or wear yet. I think a black leather will hold up pretty well.

Great video! It helps a lot. I got both the silicone & leather cases for my iPhone 12. Also both original Apple in product RED actually. The leather one is start to wear a little, but not much yet. Going to use it while working, & let it take the worst wear when out. In general I use the silicone when needed, mostly at home, otherwise I don’t have neither on it few times. Think it’s a great balance to let them last for a long time. Again, thanks for this great video since it helps to see how it will look like in near future, although I always am careful with my devices (with or without cases on) when I’m out, at work or home.

Hi, Aaron. On my iPhone 12 Pro Max, I initially used a silicone case but switched to a leather case some time in January. I like the look and the feel of the leather case and it is holding up well, so far. On my wife’s 12 Pro Max, that’s a different story. She is very rough on her device. I noticed she drops her device a lot when she had a 8 Plus. On her 12 Pro Max I placed a good quality screen protector and an Otterbox Symmetry with MagSafe. It has done very well protecting her device and I am pleased with that case. Thank you for your videos and your time. Thanks for allowing me to share my case results.

I have an iPhone SE black leather case I used it about the release date of SE to this January. It is very comfy I dropped it several times only problem is thin plastic between charging port and lower screen that plastic to damage although it’s great. I bought 12 Pro 19 January with Cyprus green it’s very comfy as all I am very grateful with Apple’s cases

I have found the silicone cases chip and wear even on the newest version. I converted to an iPhone 12 leather case and won’t go back to silicone. It wears nicely and has quality metal buttons. Well worth the extra $$. The ONLY negatives on leather are they are not as nice to handle nor does it grip on surfaces in car etc.

I have the cloud blue silicone case. Love it for my 12 pro max! Was using white silicone for the vast majority of the time I’ve had my phone since launch. Used leather for a bit then gave it to my husband (I like it I just like some of the more girly colors on silicone). Also use Carved cases they’re Amazing too!! But for me my daily driver is my cloud blue. LOVE the cloud blue! Been waiting for this color for a long time!!

I literally luv this video, great idea boss. I have also used the product red iPhone leather case for several years now, two a year per iPhone due to the leather becomes dirty no matter how well I took care. Your daughter really used the red leather for iPhone 12 or pro, I noticed even though there is wear, the over all skin is not messed up from use or hand oils, this is good. I don’t invest in Apples Silicon cases, from former to new, never cared for them, skins only. Thanks boss! 👍🏻👍🏻

I have the leather case for the iPhone 12 Pro Max for about 4 months and it’s getting pretty dark around the edges of the case and the corners are coming off slowly I dropped it a few times and since the corners are coming off it actually dinged my iPhone it looks great at first with the gold but doesn’t hold up with regular use I’d stay away with the leather case and gonna go with the silicon next time!

I use third party silicone (spigen) and leather (nomad) cases..i mostly use the leather case because i like the patina look when it wears and i feel it is thicker and has better protection. i swap it out with the silicone case when i go jogging as it is lighter and better sweat resistant...

I do very much enjoy using Apple’s cases, either the leather or the silicone cases handle very well for me in the past. Right now I have the blue leather case on my iPhone 12 PM, and I did notice a ring around the center where Apple’s MagSafe charger connected. I ended up getting a Ravpower magsafe charger from Amazon and it does not create the ring on the back. In fact, it flattened out my leather case so there is no ring any longer. I highly recommend that MagSafe charger for anyone who’s looking to get one over Apple.

I only use leather and clear case for my iPhone XR. Both have held up well. Leather for everyday and clear case if I know my iPhone could get wet on a rainy day, beach, theme park etc.

I have an iPhone XS and I use the Apple smart battery case which is amazing for getting me through a whole day with still a full charge usually depending on usage. The silicone is very grippy which make it very pleasant to hold; there’s also some weight to it; personally it doesn’t bother me but it may vary from person to person.

I have used the Silicon case since I had my iPhone 7 and while it felt nice in the hand, it was annoying when I tried to take it out of my pocket. Also, it attracted quite a bit of lint so I had to constantly clean it. When I got my iPhone 12 Pro, I bought the clear case, which I'm using right now. Although it has been great, I'm thinking of buying a leather case to change things up

While a little pricey, I have been a fan of Pitaka cases. Nothing beats Pitakas’ combination of grip and smooth hand feel. It’s hard to explain until you use one but it’s it’s perfect. I could never get into Apples cases because the silicone ones are too sticky and wear out fast and the leather is far too slippery when my hands are dry.

Loved the iPhone 7 leather cases, but I had to choose silicone for my iPhone 11 as they don’t make leather cases for it. Started peeling at the bottom after 5 months of normal use, no drops. Spent over 3 hours with Apple Support to finally get a free replacement.

The leather was great, I love the patina of the saddle brown 😍😍 I’ve recently been using the Apple clear case for my iPhone XR, 11, and now the 11 Pro Max. Shout out the Apple’s smart battery case. Those were great too. But currently I’ve been sticking with the clear and silicone cases

I’ve noticed that the leather wears the most on the 12 Mini around the sharper edges. As opposed to the X series with the rounded edge, these sharper edges wear a lot faster

I always use a case on my phone. I have the apple silicone cases and a third party full cover clear case. I'd prefer the third party full cover cases than apple silicon cases because it doesn't protect the bottom of the iPhone and it made my old iPhone 7 scuffed on the lightning connector, I'm thankful that my screen didn't break because the bottom was completely unprotected.

I have an 11 pro max - switch between the smart charging case and two leather cases (red and black). I stopped using my silicone case for the same reasons you state. I found the clear case uncomfortable so stopped using it. the product red leather case hasn't really aged like the black one, it's almost 8 months old but still looks brand new whilst the black one has worn significantly around the sides, they both get very similar use. the smart charging case, oddly enough, doesn't grip to clothes much like the normal silicone cases which is why I like using it.

I have a very small scratch on the bottom of my iPhone XR I felt so bad LOL. It’s hard. I absolutely love apple and keeping things in perfect condition. However you simply have to use things and with that is wear. Especially with iPhones. And I feel putting a bulky case takes away from the countless hours of there design and feel.

I had the clear case for my 11 pro. I really did not like it much because it was slippery in the hand, the volume buttons were to hard to press and removing the case was difficult to do. For and honorable mention I replaced the Apple case with a case made by Cudabe. (might have spelled that wrong). It is a very light weight case which is really easy to remove and put back on the iPhone.

The iPhone silicone case being sticky has positives. it wont drop from your pocket if being active like sitting in a low chair then standing up and the grip is really good, and has a very small chance of dropping or slipping away from your hands
