You can tell that Chris has never worked. He actually promised his mistress the position of President. Alisha's parents should've been told about her behavior. Alisha did tell them that she had a high paying job waiting for her. They are going to wonder why she no longer has that opportunity. Even though Jodi didn't sue her, it's a good chance that Jodi may tell other companies about Alisha's behavior. A person's reputation does count.

The girl was given so many chances to just drop it, especially from the woman who she slighted and yet she kept on going.

I would have followed through with the lawsuit. That girl was straight-on harassing Alicia; even insulting her and saying she was jealous old hag and that she's glad of the affair. There's only so many chances and/or mercy a person would give someone who slept with another woman's hubby. Give me a break...

Chris: "It's all your fault that my plans fell through! You should've just been a good little girl and kept your mouth shut. And you won't divorce me because I'm such a prize that there's no way that you can live without me." Me: "You should consider yourself lucky that I'm having the State Police on your ass like a bad case of hemorrhoids for fraud. And you think that you're a prize that I can't live without? Yeah, right. You're like a Zonk prize from Let's Make A Deal."

For the ending, I wish they shown that Alisha’s family came to know about the affair and indirect job offer from it, causing her family to be furious and disown her from the family and cut her off forever and to make things worse, she got expelled from college as a result!

A degree in Underwater Basket Weaving is not very demanding. edit for clarity: Underwater basket weaving is an idiom referring pejoratively to supposedly useless or absurd college or university courses and often generally to refer to a perceived decline in educational standards. Not sure if the expression is still popular, but it was when I was going to college.

@@conjumonblue6450Actually it's Basket Weaving 101, an idiom for easy classes for college athletes to take. Just like "Cupcake U" is an idiom for college teams who play way out of their league for money.

@@GeorgieB1965 Yeah, I have heard of that one too. It might be a regional thing. I went to Berkeley back in the 1970s, where underwater basket weaving was used an expression. A couple of others were the preparation and serving of smorgasbord, or the combined course of anatomy and panty-raiding. Try using that later one today and you'd hear the protests from miles away. I find it interesting how expressions or their popularity change over time.

Ive always hated that: "You're never home. I'm lonely so its your fault I found someone else." Meanwhile the person being accused doesn't care to take in the person always gone is providing for the household. I'm a trucker wife, it is definitely a lonely position to be in when my husband goes into work and I wont see him for either the whole day or the next. Holidays have changed for us, many other things as well to adjust to this life but no matter how lonely I can become, I think the same with him. Hes on the road just as lonely which means a person even with a normal 9-5 w.e can feel to same. It hurts knowing folks go through the argument time and time again; get a healthy hobby if youre unable to work/disabled, not difficult to fill your life with positivity than someone to bring to bed while your partner focuses tiredly on providing.

@@falxblade1352 You absolutely can use infidelity as leverage in a divorce in a no-fault State. A no-fault State just means you aren't required to prove either party was at fault and that you can get a divorce even when one party doesn't want it. But you can carry on just the same as any other divorce. You'll still get considerations for alimony, child-support, division of assets, etc. and proving infidelity would aid in the factoring of them.

How does Chris think by saying it was her fault, that his wife Jodi "Opened her big mouth." that daring Jodi as he did, "You love me. You can't divorce me, you don't have the guts." You'll give me another chance. You love me too much to give me up." would make Jodi say. "Oh okay, I won't divorce you then". Things he said to her actually would put Jodi over the top and want to divorce him even more.

Fate of Chris: He tried to make a move on another woman with money but it fail miserably and she humiliated him in a brutal fashion to the point that he tried to attack her but she beat the living hell out of him and even had this whole scene filmed and it was put into social media. Now no woman wants to go near him and no woman wants him to serve coffee so the female customers demand to be served by a different barista. His life has taken a toll for the worst as he started to self destruct and started drinking and all downhill form here. As for Alisha, She got expelled from college and her family disowned her and is now on her own. He ended up becoming homeless eventually.

If you are coming into a marriage with considerably more assets than your spouse it is insane to not have a prenup agreement in place prior to the wedding. If you started your company prior to your marriage then it is ridiculous to not protect your investments. Sitting down with lawyers on both sides and drawing up a fair prenup may be upsetting to some people's feelings but it is a rational intelligent business decision at the end of the day. It is possible to put an infidelity clause in the prenup so the offending party would be severely penalized for the affair. An age old adage applies to this situation; CYA (Cover your ass)!!! If you won't blindfold your eyes and walk into traffic you shouldn't blindfold your eyes and walk into marriage either!

The fact that all these women are sleeping with maried men is shocking. They dont even check whome they are open ing their leggs to. They dont understand that if they are the ones that tell everything to the wife who provides for the cheater and now their life is ruined and nothing goes like they planned, they are ready to kill the cheater. H lost everything. Yes, it is his fault that it happend, but it wouldn't if the mistress didn't contact the wife. So he will blame her. These women dont see that. Instead of being independent and letting the guy know that if he gets divorced she wont support him and keeping it a secret, they decide that they are going to live off of the guy who is cheating on his wife. How stupid. And he promised this and that to the side chick. And telling his wife that he loves her. Well if you loved her you wouldn't cheat This is 21 century. Why do these girls want to depend on the guy who is clearly a scumbag? How can you trust him? And now he has nothing because of you Alisha, he can go beserk and kil you, you fool. Why do you go to college if you are planing on living off of a guy?Why are you throwing your money away then?

And this is why I think alimony in most cases is stupid. Also pro prenuptial agreements. In fact I think if you want a stay at home spouse there should be a contract stating that you agree to cover all household and childcare costs have a reasonable up to generous allowance (depending upon income and the kind of person you are) agreed to in said contract. No joint accounts. Anything extra is at the providers discretion and are gifts. Lots of other terms and stipulations of course. Am I cold blooded? Yes...lol I mean I'm not into joint ownership anyway but if I was going to do it I prefer cold calculation over blindly foolish.

Like the way this one ends as in real life wife would not get alimony as she made more money, and supported husband. Better than stories saying wife gets alimony even though she makes more. Again this is more realistic.
