Child Abuse in any form is never funny, I have firsthand experience on it. I was abused by family (physical & emotional) and by a dad of one of my brother's friends (SA). My fiancé hit my face so many times that I saw stars (flashing lights). I now have a wonderful husband who is gentle and loving.

Alyssa is a classic example of toxic people being as stupid as they are toxic. Considering the chip she had on her shoulder and her constant complaining or looking for a reason to complain, I wonder how much time and energy she was channeling into taking care of her son. I hope her husband got custody.

After Alyssa was convicted of Child Abuse type charges, the husband would definitely get sole custody of their son.

Yeah, I wouldn't have told Alyssa we were on our way home. I would have given the kid something to eat and then caught her in the act of coming home and berating him for eating, recording everything. I'd call CPS on her and force her to move out of her house and leave her kid with his dad. And, of course, file criminal charges.

Ummmmm When my little sister was four years old, she got the flu and didn’t eat for a week. Back then they didn’t have all the technology and medical stuff they now have. She’s still alive. Grandma would get her to drink a little tea or water every so often, but my sister was too sick to eat. But hey!!! I loved the fictitious characters in this fictitious story. Alyssa didn't starve Noah simply because Theo wanted all of the food. I think that she did it because she must have really hated her brother and his wife. That would also extend to Noah. I already knew that she would end up in prison.

I've never had money. Always had the family covered with the necessities. We always had plenty of food. The 1st time a friend of 1 of the kids would come to stay the night, they were shocked at the amount of food I would fix. It was common for them to ask who else was coming to eat.

Well the writers wanted to make the sister-in-law jealous… So making the brother a CEO is the quickest and easiest method to do that! If he was just Joe blow that worked at the gas station she would not have anything to be jealous about! In the Asian countries… where these stories originate from...The CEOs are the coveted position.

You know, the person I blame most for this situation is the mother of the abused child. She left her child with a person she didn't even really like because oh, she's been working hard and needs a vacation and she didn't even call her child to check on him. Everyone talks as if the physical side of starvation was the worst thing that happened to the child . Does anyone understand what happens to the mind of a child who's been deliberately starved? Food is the primary need of every creature's survival and what Alyssa introduced to this 5 year old is FEAR. His mother is gone and the person SHE left him with is torturing him, withholding food and berating him for wanting to eat. (Alyssa's not being thoughtless, she's taking the opportunity, the power that mom gave her over that child, to get revenge on a person she's obviously jealous of.) So the teacher fed the kid's body, that kid has been left with psychological scars that noone seem to be talking about. He no longer can automatically trust anyone or KNOW that he'll always have enough to eat. He's only 5 years old and he's scarred. At the end mom is all cheerful, she got the bad person, everything's okay, hooray. Shame on the creators of this story for using child abuse as entertainment.

If someone ever tried to starve 1 of my kids. They wouldn't have a house left. As my now adult kids have ALWAYS been gannets. They can clear out an all you can eat Chinese buffet in no time. An dont get me started on the mountain of food they can pile on at a Carvey or at home lol. Its never bothered me how much they can eat. An NONE of them are even an ounce overweight. As they are all skinny. My 2 lazy sons even have six packs. Yet they NEVER excersise at all lol. An my daughter has 3 kids with her 4th due in few weeks. Yet she always goes back to a size 6. After having the babes a month. My 3 grandsons are also gannets. Yet Luckily none have ever had food issues. One of my eldest sons school friends was a fussy eater. Except when he ate at ours 3 x per week. His mother told me he won't eat eggs or few other things (Not allergies). Yet under my roof he ate whatever I cooked lol. Found out years later that his mom was a crap cook & he liked my cooking. So starving MY kids is just NOT an option. They would go mental on whoever TRIED to starve them. I even had to inform every school they went to to increase their food portion sizes due to their appetites. It cost me twice the normal cost for school lunches per child. Yet it was better than what my then 5yr old son did to school kitchen when he was refused seconds on his first day. So by second day. I sorted it out an had to take in a bigger dinner plate for the little gannet. An his 2 siblings & my grandsons had to have bigger plates an the extra costs. So I just don't understand how ANY mother can starve ANY child. It's pure & simple CHILD ABUSE. So I'd charge the bitch for starving her child. An then if it was ME. I'd beat the crap out of her. Making sure she got a broken jaw. Then let her try eating herself lol

@@lorrainelomotan1366 Hi Lorraine. My son's friend STILL eats at my house regularly. They are 30yrs old now. An became friends as 5yr olds. An his mom is still a crap cook. But his dad has learned to cook quite well. So my son eats there at least once a week now lol. When I had my first flat I blew up 2 electric cookers lol. Then after having my first born daughter. I soon learned to cook properly as she was always hungry after an hour or 2. Besides I didn't want her eating processed crap. As Heinz baby foods had issues with glass in their products at the time. So that put me off ever using premade shop bought rubbish. I'm one of 13 siblings. An my dad was an exceptional cook. So I wanted my kids bought up like myself. We had a large veggie patch & we often caught our own rabbits. Fish & meat like venison & pheasant & duck lol. We had to supplement our household with caught meats ect as my dad worked 3 jobs to afford to bring us all up to adulthood. An in the 1970s nobody cared if it came from the butcher or local nature reserve lol. It was useful having 2 fisheries nearby too. Even now. I made own a fridge freezer. Yet only thing in freezer is ice cream an ice cubes. I cook daily an there's never ANYTHING left to even try freezing it. I can easily spent £40 on a LARGE joint of beef or similar an cook it for Sunday lunch yet they don't leave a scrap on their plates, even for the dogs. It's a Damn good job my job was very well paying. As no way could my hubby have afforded to feed our 3 gannets on his wages. Not that who earned more was ever an issue. As we saw it as family money. An my skinny hubby eats as much as the now adult kids. If I go out for a meal with my hubby an adult kids & our 3 grandsons. I know it's likely to have zero change from £200+. Yet we're just glad our kids & grandkids are healthy & happy. Although my purse an hobbies wallet have had it rough lol. 😊

@Torri Davenport unfortunately we had to move 700 miles away. Lost friend when I refused to let him move in with us. In the US you could (might) end up in jail. No paper for his mom giving him permission to live with us. Easily able to make up lies that I kidnapped or did something else. If it was same town or city I would not have minded having him live with us. Break up triplet set. No court paper=no friend. My son had another friend who had ADHD a Dr told me not to give him medicine, if anything happens I would be responsible. This mom tried having her friend take him to school w/o school uniform. She had no clean clothes for him in her apartment. I took him in mine and gave him my son's clothes to wear. My son always brought extra snack to school to share. The staff did not like it. This was 10 years ago.

@@lorrainelomotan1366 You have a heart of gold. An your son has obviously inherited that from you. My kids called our house the local halfway house as I'd feed anyone who needed a home cooked meal. As my dad did the same when I was growing up. I always cook more than needed due to the gannets lol. So they often brought at least 2 or 3 friends home each for lunch or Dinner. As in our area there were a lot of latchkey kids. Left to their own as the parents worked. So I NEVER minded feeding these hungry kids. Seems you have that caring nature too. So I wish you all the best. I studied in Boston when I was younger. So know the laws in USA too. So I fully understand how difficult it must have been for you. With those not so nice moms who DONT or CANT look after their kids. So I was always taught to help those in need. An I don't see the need to change lol
