Oddly enough the Kikland fresh pressed apple juice from Costco, is not from concentrate, & has very little additives. It also tastes great, & is pretty good on price

aside from the super expensive Simply brand I've never heard of the other top ranked. I've become a big Langers fan though. all their juice taste like the true thing in liquid form. the mango is a bit sweet but good

Mayer Bros. Apple Juice has one ingredient-Apples. Fresh pressed, never from concentrate. They are based in New York state and grow their own Apples. A 64 oz. bottle is about $3.50. I found this by reading labels at the store. Some Apple juice makers even use concentrate from 4-5 countries including China. I'll take mine pure.

I enjoyed this. My home for twenty years has been Montana, but I grew up in the Columbia River Gorge in apple orchard paradise. Therefore, I'm a complete apple snob. My best friends, funny enough, are from Maine ... a climate extraordinarly similar to the Pacific Northwest. They've got Macintosh, which are beautiful. I buy them in season for decorative purposes, and not bad to eat. But the Pacific Northwest owns the best tasting of all ... the Honeycrisp. We have other varietals of course, but Honeycrisp is King both for juice and fresh eating (our Granny Smiths are tart, and best for baking during the holidays). Some of these juices taste OK, and some pretty good (Simply is my favorite among commercial brands). BUT, BUT, BUT ... There is NO SUBSTITUTE for cold pressed, unpasteurized, no additives cider directly from the orchard they were harvested from. I found it interesting the note that state by state - there's rarely a distinction from "juice" to cider. I go home each fall to see family, and on my way back - buy cold pressed Honeycrisp cider, frozen by the gallon ... as much as I can fit in my chest freezer. If I get my elk during arĺchery season, maybe 10 gallons will fit in the freezer. If no elk (as often as not) ... I'll buy 20 gallons for me, plus more for my friends to pass around during the holidays. There's NO BETTER apple juice than cold pressed and fresh-frozen straight from the Orchard ... I digress, and as I said - I'm an apple snob. Red apples are the worst 😫
