The grown man lies to the police about - I hear someone was stabbed and I fit the description he said. Then he said a guy (which would have been AJ) had the knife I turned his wrist into his stomach. So first lies about knowing about the event then lies about how and why he stabbed AJ. This was not self defense when you see he walks away from the teens then comes charging back 10-20 mins later with nobody from his group, just him while he checks for his knife. Watch the video it’s clear he went back over with the intent to use that weapon. He opens it before he punches the girl. Why open a knife but not use it if you’re scared enough to need to open a knife? Instead strikes a girl gets hit for doing so which makes sense because they were defending a girl getting hit. Then stabs and guts someone before even getting back to his feet. I feel he was looking for a reason to use that knife.

He stabbed multiple people and had blood on his ear that he washed off in the river, but no visible injury to the ear. Why would the prosecution not point out it was likely not his blood? Defense is making it out like it was evidence of him being injured. The prosecution is not present really. I mean they let the defense ask all the victims about their memory and challenge their memory with step by step through the video, but the prosecution barely challenges Miu's wife and friends when their memories and statements are clearly bs. They just said he was on PTSD medicine at the time. For what? Did he forget to take it? Are there blood levels for him for anything? Where is his medical history to see what his normal bp and heart rate are? Where are the questions about how often do victims lie about how they injured their attacker? He never seemed rattled or in shock. His group floated on down the river of blood past the victims and nobody talked about anything. Then acted surprised when the police stopped him. Why? What did he do? In the frame by frame, you see his friend look horrified. He saw the water run red with blood, but they all left the horriffic scene by going through it and no one said anything. Wife never asked a single question, but they all say the same bs that is absolutely not believable.

But Isaac didn't touch miu until after miu stabbed Riley and Tony. Then Isaac comes and shoves miu back with his hands making contact with mius neck and chest. And the way I see it is Isaac came to tge defense of Riley and Tony. Unfortunately we don't get to hear Isaac's pov because miu killed him as Isaac was trying to push him away from Tony. Isaac has rights too. Isaac is entitled to self defense too. He is allowed to defend others he sees in trouble. Why doesn't the prosecution speak for Isaac? They make Isaac lookl like he just wanted to get a lick in on miu but he never touches miu until miu stabs Riley and Tony. That's self defense on Isaac's part. Had Isaac been armed with a gun, he could've shot miu dead after seeing Riley and Tony get stabbed. And it would've been totally justified. So why isn't he justified for using his bare hands? @@Concert643 From the Harvard Med site: "When you are at rest, your heart is pumping the lowest amount of blood to supply the oxygen your body's needs. *Although the official normal resting heart rate ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute, the range for most healthy adults is between 55 and 85 beats per minute.* However, other factors can affect your resting heart rate, such as - stress - anxiety - hormones - medication - physical activity level." I work in clinical pharma research and have advanced degree in neurobiology. 91 is out of the conservative healthy range (I've lived and worked abroad in Europe and Asia and that is certainly the case outside of the US where the "average" person is clinically obese to begin with), but not so far out of range as to be clinically significant finding in a drug trial. But in this case, the man has had heart attacks and massive bypass surgery within past few years and surely is medicated to prevent further stress on his cardiac health. They want to keep such a patients heart rate down and his meds would surely be a *HR LOWERING* factor here. 100 HR is normal if taken in isolation in an otherwise healthy person during a check up, but a competent MD will look closer at a man with recent major cardiac surgery and history of heart attack and ongoing meds with a resting HR nearing 100.

He just said a smartass remark, then nothing & started messing with their tubes. He could have yelled to his friend, hey, I think these kids have your phone! They could have called police to intervene & try to retrieve it for them. But ultimately, it was a phone, & not worth multiple lives or a prison sentence. He used such poor judgment. I agree that it is a FAFO situation that the teens were in, but it looks bad that the murderer said it was the teens knife, he was never verbal during the conflict, never said STOP, never called for help, never called out a warning to the teens, walked upriver to ditch the knife, went back to his wife & friends and watched the aftermath for 20mins, never told his wife/friends about the stabbing, never called police, disguised himself when exiting the river, told police he heard there was a stabbing and he fit the description. It’s not intentional or meant to be disrespectful it’s just a coping mechanism. The simple fact is Miu is lying to change the story. There is fault on both sides but if those kids didn’t have video proof of most of what happened Miu and the defence lawyers would continue and embroider the lies. The prosecutors are not good, almost lackadaisical. Why was Miu's blood not taken and blood alcohol tested? Crazy to take photos of tiny scratches but not of bruised knuckles. Other than the scrape near his butt the other scratches could have been gotten at anytime crawling around the river or even scratching an itch. As far as I could see he was never hit in the back of the head or ear or kicked. The kids were not violent, stupid maybe, but Miu was the only one with a weapon and could have moved away earlier if he did not want confrontation. His actions - or lack of actions or communication, were a big part of how the events happened.

You never know if the other person has a weapon to use on you for your stupid physical bullying! Let’s get real here! Both sides wholly wrong here but my stance is it wasn’t self defense but no proof the man started it by punching that girl on video, though I do believe the boys yelling at him “you don’t hit a girl” seems to maybe tell he hit her but drunk kids are not credible! I think he hit her but no proof and that’s a bad thing as that could have decided this case on who the violent aggressor was and voided any self defense. Sad 😩

@coleengogerty38528 ай бұрын
That is not a bias statement when she is simply repeating what was said when she was called and asked to come to examine him. When someone is in custody they have to inform us nurses why they are there for several reasons. 1st being our safety. We have a right to not examine a person if we don’t feel safe to do so. 2nd, they were at the jail so it’s lot like they asked her to come to a daycare. 3rd, he was a suspect in a mass stabbing incident. She isn’t the one accusing him of anything. She is there in her professional capacity and when a nurse is trained in sexual assault examinations, you have a victim 14:48 and a possible perpetrator or suspect. When writing down our information during exams that is how we are taught to differentiate between the victim and suspect or perpetrator.

I don't have any injury or physical trauma, and this guy has the same resting BP and pulse rate that I have, and I only weigh 100 pounds, with no history of vascular disease. He's 75 pounds overweight, and has vascular disease, not the least unusual for him to have elevated vital signs. The surgery he had wouldn't leave a scar on his chest, the CABG is done on your neck.
