In order to make Apple great again, in my view, would require Steve Jobs and he's not coming back. I think Apple will still be good, but not what it was once during the Golden Era. Unless they get rid of Safe Tim Cook and install a visionary leader that takes calculated risks again. Apple is too safe, too boring, too sterile, devoid of emotion. Excitement needs to come back again.

i do not own vision pro. but a close friend uses it for work every day. and I have done in store demos with it a couple times. I was amazed by the visual and audio quality and was not put off with size/weight. It was more svelte and light than i was expecting though I was wearing it 30 minutes and not 3 hours

Okay, so I want to approach the "insane guy" comment from a few angles. First, before you just dismiss someone as some "insane" nobody because you don't recognize his face, you may want to do your research. The guy talking about ChatGPT and iPhones is Erik Prince. He is a former Navy Seal and the founder of Blackwater, one of the largest private armies in the world. He is highly intelligent, and he has amassed a net worth of over $1 billion from his business ventures. So, the guy is not "insane" because he has disheveled hair and is wearing a polo shirt in an interview. He probably also knows a bit more than Jon Prosser and Sam Kohl about intelligence and how is it acquired. Regarding his views on ChatGPT and iPhones, according to what Apple has said, he is wrong. You have to realize that he also sells a "secure" smartphone. So, he has a financial motive to push fear about Apple selling our data. Would I ever buy his phone? No. Do I think that Apple is selling our data without our knowledge? It's possible, but not likely. Either way, you guys come off as smug and uninformed when you simply dismiss someone because you don't like what he says and don't know who he is. All-in-all, great podcast, and I have been a listener for a few years now. I never miss a show.
