Colleen forced her son to set her sister-in-law's house on fire, in spite of him kicking and screaming that he didn't want any part of it....what made her think she was gonna get custody of him back?

Colleen is one of the most despicable villains in the Apple text universe. It's frustrating that no one ever calls the cops when people break and enter, or steal. Now we have a story where there is solid evidence that a crime was committed with malice and a blatant disregard for the well-being of her child and she gets a slap on the wrist. I'm glad they took her kid, her treatment of him is disgusting. Kayden is lucky that this all happened because nothing good would have come from him being raised Colleen. Her lack of accountability is absolutely appalling.

Since she wasn't formally charged with Arson, two years of incarceration was enough.

She was only given two years. She should’ve been in jail for a lot longer. She intended to burn that house down. That’s why she let sparklers and threw them in the trash. She knew what she was doing. She was so jealous of her sister-in-law that’s why she wanted to burn the house down.

In almost all states Arson 1 is usually punished by life in prison. 2 years?? Not in anyone dreams. She got off too easy and for blaming her child, child abuse should have been charged too!!!

Colleen broke and entered, allowed her child to use fireworks inside which is endangerment to the child. She’d probably be charged with arson too. The insurance would probably cover the loss of the house, but the insurance company would fry Colleen to the law’s maximum. She won’t be going to jail she’ll be going to prison and that’s a whole different animal.

Common sense, setting them off in the house? Like it wasn't on purpose? Jealousy is one thing, lashing out about it is another. Please tell me she either gets arrested for doing this on purpose. Colleen doesn't dictate the op not seeing the other members. Whoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Twist………… She should go to prison and pay for the total loss + she needs a class on common sense and etiquette + thrown out of her mom's house She allowed her son to do that either she had no sense whatsoever or she did it on purpose. She took the key and went in without asking. She was being sneaky and if I was police I would charge her for allowing her son to do that. Of course, it was on purpose. Colleen can live in a park 😊 Great story!

The situation isn't as bad as it seems. The house would be insured. The fire department will investigate and determine that the fire was arson. The police would arrest Colleen. The house could be rebuilt or the landsold.

I have to admit, the scripts of these stories tend to repeat themselves. But occasionally they hit the nail head on. Colleen is perfect image of a fundamentalist who rides on Holier-than-Thou attitude. People like Colleen can do things like this and then go to church and with no moral problems tell people "I haven't sinned at all this week, am I righteous?" They simply believe that the world actually works the way they want it to work.

Am I the only one who thinks that she did her time in jail and maybe she should have got a fresh start of life with a little help from her family.
@Xerame506
@Xerame506 19 күн бұрын
Why? When she got out she was just as selfish as when she went in. There was no remorse, just me me me. Did she think about what was best for her son, how she used him, and what his life was like now? A "little help" would have perpetuated her being a victim. She would have used her son to continue to leech off of her family. She found a live-in job on her own.

Breaking and entering… Bringing her son along while she committed crimes… Completely destroying an entire house… Not just a broken window or a little stove fire… The ENTIRE house!! Two years is barely enough time for premeditated arson besides breaking & entering.
