Apple Smart Script: Digital Handwriting Tools

This is an excerpt from my video on Apple's annual developer's conference WWDC 2024. They updated the iPad software to accommodate more handwriting functionality which I thought was pretty interesting. May be of special interest to the eInk Tablet, and Digital Handwriting crowds. Enjoy!

I hope Boox, Ratta and others, never forget that the writing & reading feeling, and the eInk type of screen or tech is really the only real differentiators that they have over an iPad. All their updates and changes should only be oriented towards those 2 factors: writing and reading experience and their “paper like” look (eInk or related technology). I don’t care how many new writing features the iPad has…it sucks writing in an iPad. Cheers from Mexico! Thanks for the reviews!!!

In what Apps does the Smart Script work? Only on Apple apps or also on third party apps?

Hello, it works in the notes app. and right now, I think it's just Apple 1st party apps. They did put out the API so others could potentially use it too. Thanks for stopping by.
