I discovered Chapel about a year ago and told all my friends about her. I’m so glad she’s getting the recognition she deserves. When it’s genuine , it just shines through. You can’t make it up. I had the privilege of seeing Dua Lipa in a small club in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida seven years ago and I thought the same thing then I was witnessing something special. Good Luck, Babe! was the song that got me into Chappell Roan, to me the song I think is such a relatable lgbtq experience around the denial of feelings, how a relationship is stunted by denial, the longing for someone to admit they want you. You don't really hear this in many songs, in fact I only know of 2 other songs that touch on this but this does it in its own unique way which is addicting and great to listen too.

*wow! What an amazing "ok quick" but still an amazing interview. I love this interview because he is a genuine, honest, sincere, supportive and one-of-a-kind loving man and artist. I don't know how to explain it but he has something special in him that makes this interview so addictive that you can't stop listening to it over and over again. You can clearly feel how much he loves her, how happy he is for her that her career just exploded because of one song. At 77 years old he is still able to recognize new generation talent and success. I am pretty sure that Chappell was thrilled, happy and truly honoured to be interviewed by him. Who wouldn't be? This man has an exceptional career spanning 6 decades. He is a true source of inspiration for so many artists and people like you and me. To this day, I can honestly say that he's in my top 3 favourite artists of all time. As I grew up my parents used to listen to him and was able to learn what real talent is. When an artist just doesn't sing a song but lives and feels each lyric and then transpires in his or her singing.*
