Based on a lot of the songs that she’s been playing on NTS over the past years, I am not surprised that the record came out the way it did. It’s so good and I can totally see where her inspiration comes from in recording and all things. It is very unique and feels very real. Live laugh clairo

I like this interviewer, but I don't like how much he asks Clairo about other, "bigger" artists. When he asks Clairo which big musicians she shared her recent album with, if she would collaborate with the biggest artists on the planet, or what her thoughts were on the Lorde/ Charli XCX song, it seems like he's fishing for a soundbite instead of asking Clairo about her own creative process. She's only here for 20 minutes, I wish he asked more about her and her new album

Before the new album dropped there was a photo going around of Claire at dinner with Billie and with all of his questions, I would guess that he saw the picture too and was trying to fish around to see if they were working on something together. It felt excessive how many times he tried to subtly drop Billie’s name.

i feel like this album is so full circle for her, in interviews in the past and nts she's always talked abt her love for 70s music and a lot of soul and instrumental sounds, also hearing that she went back on soundcloud stuff was so nice. i do feel like this album really does bring forward her quintessential sound, whereas even though i enjoy sling and immunity i do feel like she was still trying to appease the "business" side of being a musician. i'm glad she's going back to her roots and also doing something fresh and she seems SO much more confident and happy

I really liked bags, her pairing as Shelly, and amoeba. But clairo never hit the mark for me. Charm however might as well have the big crown stamp on the cover. This album is incredible. It has elements of holy hive, El Michels affair, brainstory, etc. Her writing really comes through paired with Leon Michels

Charm came out exactly when I was having this crush with a friend of a friend. She asked me out on a date a day after the album dropped and I was playing Juna loudly at my office (I was working overtime so no one's around) when that happened. I've been developing a crush on her for a year and her asking me out was really out of nowhere and I was so happy. She hasn't replied to any of my messages up to this day (it's been a week) and I'm currently mustering up my courage to ask her about the date. I really don't know why she hasn't replied. Maybe she changes her mind? I try not to get my hopes up cause to be honest, I barely know her. But I really like this girl (I guess you can say I'm "charmed" by her). I want this to go well, or at least just to get the chance of going out with her to actually know her. Thank you Clairo for being so timely on the album drop
