This is the type of interview that ARMY have been waiting for. Zane spoke in a mature manner (as always) with a respectful tone and asked genuine questions of interest and not questions that seem to pry. He also spoke to the band as a group of men and not like most interviewers who treat them like a group of 14 year old boys. Zane does his research for every artist he interviews and that is why he is so highly respected in the music world by artists and fans alike.

One more thing i liked about this interview is that everybody is speaking their opinions without hesitation...or without language being a barrier(of course they must have a interpreter in between.. Which part is not shown.. Bt still) ... It looks very genuine and not for using bts to gain attention... Edit :- i said everybody is speaking but i watched full interview 2 times and i realized that taehyung didn't even spoke a single word in whole interview except the little thank you in the end... BTS does so many fast-paced, short press interviews so much so that you can usually tell how lightly and quickly they answer questions within the first few minutes of all of these. But every time they get a chance to sit and talk for more than 5 minutes with someone who is genuinely engaged, the conversation instantly turns more reflective. They have such fascinating perspectives and so much to say when given the chance. I'm glad you're building this relationship with them. BTS tends to return to journalists they enjoyed speaking with so I look forward to the round table when the album drops! Cheers!!

I know this has been said, but I just feel compelled to repeat: This is the best non-korean interview I have seen with BTS. Earlier today I was talking with a friend about how the guys can even STAND doing American interviews. They're so vapid, so simple, they ask the same questions. It's fun that ARMY has made a lot of these moments into jokes or inside jokes but it's so tiring at this point, and I'm not even the one being interviewed. These are grown ass men that deserve to talk about their art in a mature way. Good on Zane for constructing such a great interview. The rest of the pop culture and music "journalism" industry needs to take note.

See what happens when interviewers actually respect, appreciate and act genuinely with bts? They get both bts and army's stamp of approval and both parties feel like they didn't waste their time. A lot of people think we bash certain interviewers for stupid things but this right here is the actual standard of what an interview should be. Questions like "who do you want to collab with?" Or "what's your favorite american food?" are fun but it has LITERALLY been asked thousands of time and if you did a little research, you would know that. I find it sad that it's so hard to find a nice, genuine interview these days that both bts and armys are always surprised when it actually comes. I mean just look at Namjoon's face of slow realization in these types of interviews, where he starts to notice that it isn't a typical interview and actually becomes interested in answering the questions and what the interviewer is talking about. It should be like that all the time. I really hope all interviewers from now on take their time to do proper research about bts and any artist and prepare questions that actually give us insight about the artist, and not only on the surface level. Peace.

Oh I love this. Zane is such a great interviewer. People don't seem to understand that BTS aren't like a lot of other artist, their message is very deep and that's why our relationship with them as fans is different. It's much deeper, and it's hard to find interviewers who aren't just shallow. They usually ask surface questions, and that shows that they just don't get it. They don't understand how profound BTS and their music are. But Zane, he gets it!! And I'd really love to see more of him with them. BTS are very genuine people, and they can feel how genuine Zane is too. And that's what makes this so refreshing. So THANK you Zane! God Bless💜💜

His questions are remarkable. Really worthy of being called an interviewer! It is really rare to come across an interview that is a pleasure to watch without cringing at the exhausting ever broken record of questions about collabs and hollywood crushes! So awesome and I can tell that he did his research and BTS seems comfortable! He knows them by name and doesn't just refer to RM or them entirely (to avoid saying names). I love it.

This interview was special and genuine. I like the calmness; it didn't look like the questions were forced, nor did BTS seem flustered/ rushed with being interviewed in English. Thank you Mr. Zane Lowe for being warm and an informed professional to BTS. Add to that you gave them the respect that they deserve. I look forward to your deeper dive interviews with BTS in the future, please make it longer. :)

This is hands down one of the best BTS interviews by a western interviewer. I'm generally a fan of Zane Lowe's interviews but this interview was just amazing. I love how he was genuinely interested in everything they said and how he even reacted to their answers and asked back on it! The question at 6:54 and their answers just holds much weight if you're truly an ARMY. Despite the flood waves of video series, fancams, off cams, and whatever articles/news reports, its an undeniable fact that they still have alot hidden behind the screens. And that (just like what Zane said), only adds up to the 'obssession' of the masses together with their success. Truly, hats off to Zane for being extremely genuine with our boys. I hope most interviewers are like him.

This is the first time Suga revealed that all of them don't have closed friends in Seoul, especially during the earlier years, although years ago JK did slightly mentioned before about himself don't have friends besides members. All these experiences and hardships they went through all these years are in the lyrics of the Eternal 💜

I think they are super lucky to have 6 other guys as friends and hyungs! It’s hard to find 6 very close friends in anyone’s world that will have your back and care as much as these 7 do for each other.
@michellevyanca52804 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's a bit expected actually cuz they're always so busy and hardly stay in one place for too long, it's hard for them to build deep connections with people that aren't the members. But at least they do have that support system, they know they have people that will be there for them no matter what and that they can talk about anything with them. I hope as they get older and become less busy (hopefully), they can take some time for themselves and focus on the things that make them happy.
@theindoorkites4 жыл бұрын
god i love zane lowe. he truly understands the music and the artist he speaks to. i want him to do an in depth interview face to face with them one day. (preferably with an interpreter so that the boys wouldnt be pressured into speaking english, or refrain from talking to not burden joon.) i feel like he would really get to highlight each song from an album.. and im sure he would love the BU storyline if he gets into it since zane loves intermedium storylines that connect throughout the years.. i think he would really enjoy seeing the extend of bts' artistry.. i hope they get to do that one day.

My favorite interviewer out of all the interviews for this promotion so far. He’s so genuine, so thoughtful and nails a lot of great points and questions. This sounds like a conversation and not an interview. The summary at the end by Zane is so good. “I think the way that you are going about handling your success is inspiring to young people. And the fact that you’re breaking long-standing records...shows that we still have things to achieve in music.” I think the way BTS handles all their success is unprecedented. No arrogance, no fake-ness, no extravagance. I think honestly it’s due to their unique 10 year friendship and chemistry that keeps them grounded. That kind of friendship is so rare, I would dare to say I’ve never seen anything like it in the music/celebrity world. Thank you Zane. For a wonderful interview that shines a light on what is important about BTS.

omg Hobi's 'wOw' at the end just shows how suprised and how much he appreciates genuine interviewers like this. Although I do feel that now that BTS have become recognised by the media worldwide the interviews and respect for the boys is much better. It's a shame that they had to earn a #1 song on billboard for them to finally get the respect they deserve. Hopefully interviewers learn from their past mistakes and next time they interview artists from other countries with language barriers they will not underestimate their power just because they speak a different language. Anyway welcome to the fandom zane!! U have earned Army's respect, and u have set an amazing example for other interviewers too! Thank you!!!
