I like that point about a woman being immodest. For me, if a woman is immodest, I'll have trouble not lusting after her. And,for that very reason, I won't seek any further relationship. I simply don't want to be around her because she causes me to lust and that is against God's will.

GREAT reasons and I certainly agree. Also, what's extremely attractive to me is a woman using her gifts! My Lord, a woman using her gift, regardless of what it is, is an absolutely beautiful characteristic. That's not to say she's fully in her calling, but she's flowing in what God has placed in her. I could sit around her all day and not say a word but just marvel at what she does. So to my dear sisters in the faith, use your gift, whether it's in the church, arts and crafts, music, business, leadership, etc.

Spot on, Mark! No. 1 in particular is probably the single most attractive trait in a Christian woman. Ladies, you are coheirs to the Kingdom with Christ (Rom 8:17 for the full verse)! This is not only beauty, it is strength. Even better is that this can never be taken away. 'She laughs at the days to come' as it says in Proverbs 31:25. Know who it is that holds your future and smile because of it. God bless!

Great video and job of breaking down these points. As some have said, (yes) there are indicators of what qualities in a Christian man are appealing, too-as another of this channel's videos walks through :) Theme for both (bottom line)? It's basic of commandments. Love God above all else.. with all your mind, heart, and strength.. and body (Romans 12). What's that look like for each? Litmus test: The fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-26). We see those present?... it's attractive in a potential partner. Problem is that the world culture has so engulfed us (to varying degrees) that we're consumed with the lusts or "deeds" of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21). 2 Timothy 3:2-5 describes the carnality of even what Christians are told and pressured as "must haves" in a partner. Couple that with the Galatians passage, and it reads like this: "It's about you. What makes you happy. No rules, nobody can tell you differently. It's your life and whatever serves you best. If they're not about that, send em packing. You have no room for that nonsense in your life. You want someone who will treat you like a king or queen... who will gladly fulfill all of your desires; basically give you whatever you want, because you "deserve it." If they're "worth your time," they'd better be: absolutely fine-looking and dress with style, successful in their career and have a nice bank account (willing to regularly spend money on you), have a nice car and house, be into all of the things you're into, be well-liked and admired by others.. and good in bed-because you gotta try it out before ya buy it, right? Oh and always remember: "If they can't appreciate me on my worst days, then they don't deserve me on my best days," because Marilyn Monroe was/is the ultimate Christian values and dating role model, right?" See where this type of thinking leads? = broken hearts-ville AND... away from God. With this mindset, "self" has replaced God, so no human being will ever measure up. It's rooted in idolatry, which is why it'll always fail. God doesn't only tell us to avoid idolatry in all forms because He's "a jealous God" (which should be enough in itself)... but also because He knows that anything we make idols out of in our lives (even another person or ourselves)-will always break our hearts and leave us feeling empty inside; something He will never do, being able to fulfill us completely! :)

Maybe I over looked it, but I didn’t hear you mentioned physical beauty. Those 6 qualities, I totally agree with and they are a must but one thing about any or most men is no matter what she looks like he desires an attractive woman. I’ve read it all in the scriptures with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and more. I do believe inner beauty can not be over looked at all and it’s responsible for a eternal strong relationship but just remember in most cases the first thing you’re going to notice about anyone is there appearance...
@aprildipo47805 жыл бұрын
I agree and I disagree with one thought he had. My ex husband was so infatuated with his ex gf physical appearance, she cheated on him with his boss and best friend and still took her back (we were friends for 18 years) then when we got married she came into his life and he was so infatuated with her appearance it helped (though there were many other things) destroy out marriage. He couldn't give her up bc of her looks and was and has been very vocal about it. So a lot of men can be treated horribly and still find that women beyond attractive.
@jimsmith99815 жыл бұрын
April Dipo if that’s you in the picture then his ex had to be a total knock out because you’re pretty attractive yourself...
@rudy19995 жыл бұрын
Yep, first step will always be physical attraction.
@KevvoLightswift5 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I kindve wish this wasn’t a thing for me. Why did God make men visual? It’s not like I couldn’t have gotten married. My ex was desperate to be married, but deep down I found her ugly. I still find her ugly even though she’s been with another man for over a year (he’s ugly too). I am afraid I will never find a woman who is deeply attractive to me on all levels. Part of me wants to just settle, but the other part knows it’s a living hell to do so. Walk wisely, my brothers. If you don’t find a girl attractive at first, there’s a good chance you never will. It’s better to be single and lonely than married and lonely. And for my sisters out there: don’t fret if a guy isn’t into you. There are plenty of other men who will be. Go with Christ’s peace, my friends.

@susancarter38646 жыл бұрын
duizhang I think they are just about the same. Almost , exactly the same. A Christian woman wants, would like, a man that Loves the Lord MORE than her cause he could help her grow and guide her IN the Lords way, the TRUTH and not the wrong way. This is a hard world we're in, and it's going to get harder before it gets better, and Christian women know that and want smart and strong men that know Gods ways are the best ways.
@yuhz1m16 жыл бұрын
Humility is definitely up there on the list of traits, along with compassion. Can you imagine having to submit for the rest of your life to a callous, arrogant person? That right there is possibly a fate worse than death...
@yuhz1m16 жыл бұрын
Also, emotional maturity. In the words of Pete Scazerro, "Is impossible to be spiritually mature if you're emotionally immature". I'm sure Christian men find this desirable in Christian women as well. Same for the first two traits I mentioned as well.

Thank you for the video. Men need to look on the heart first of a Godly Woman and then her outer appearance because all that glitters is not gold. I know that there has to be chemistry, some attraction but that is not first or foremost. Sadly, that is what a lot of men see and desire. Good Godly Women come in all shapes and sizes. Look beyond the physical. Look for the Spiritual first and go on the leading of the Spirit of Abba Yah and you will get a Proverbs 31 Woman. You both will be blessed.

tyler Schaale Your comment was a perfect example of the mentality of some men. You spoke of the PHYSICALITY of the woman and NOT HER HEART. What you seemed to be saying is "fat" women cannot be attractive or Godly. Someone " unclean" cannot be Godly. You missed the whole jist of my point. Abba Yah looks at the heart and what is inside, not the physical aspect of a person, as in this case, I was speaking of women. A lot of men only look at her physical appearance overlooking what may be a woman with a heart for Yahweh EVEN though she may not be as attractive as a model. I pray that you and some men will go back into your Bibles and read what Yahweh says about how a man is to treat a women attractive or not. Be blessed.

I am a widow for more than 3 years, and I feel that Christian men are afraid of me. My husband passed away with brain cancer. I cared for him up to the end of his life. I haven't dated no one since my husband died. I am ready to date again, but the brothers and sisters in Church call me "the young widow" I don't know if that can effect on a man dating me?
@wonderingchild15 жыл бұрын
lisapulino First, I'm so sorry for your loss. You were what God wanted for your husband. How precious to have taken care of him. An honor to be able to say, " till death do us part" the enemy would have you think that was a negative. No matter what the ppl say...if God has someone for you, nothing anyone could say would stop it! Rest in knowing, Jesus knows the desires of your heart. What doors He opens no man can shut. What doors He shuts no man can open. The scripture says a man who finds a wife, finds a good thing. Proverbs 18:22 Rest in that, knowing you don't have to do a thing. God will work His perfect plan! I appreciate your content. I am in a season where my focus is on God and His will for my life but, I do desire marriage to a Godly husband, at the right time. I am committed to doing things differently as, I have failed in the past.

Hey don't be discouraged at all. Keep being you and let your focus on God be strong. You didn't fail in your past no way, it's a leaning experience. So be proud of yourself for picking yourself up. God bless you abundantly 💯 I hope all is well with you.

I have failed to maintain my sexual purity in dating, but the resulting sleeplessness over my sin is causing me to take a strong stand against it and I am now ready to flee sexual temptation and end a relationship that is not Christ-centered.

Excuse me but is it not in error to claim that sexual attraction plays NO part in a man choosing a mate? He's looking for someone to make babies with. Yes these other qualities are very important, but you can't have an asexual marriage.
@ApplyGodsWordcomMarkBallenger6 жыл бұрын
This video never said attraction play no part . . . I talk about that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6e9nGdro5V5bNE

These "evangelical feminists" will have much more trouble finding husbands. I don't understand how the gentlemanly act of pulling a chair out or opening a door for a woman is demeaning. That's stupid.
@yailinayala43414 жыл бұрын
It's attractive because when it is done in Christ Jesus 🙏❤️ it shows love, honor, and respect to God first then towards himself and that person he seems to pursue

The “Evangelical feminists” are the reason why men avoid women in churches these days, not worth the risk. These women ruin it for the special ladies.

Yes all of these are true. If I sense the girl is relying on me for self esteem and she isn't seeking a relationship with God or if she dosent open herself up for me to pursue I just stop pursuing all together instead of texting every once or 2 days I may only once or twice a week because if there are other guys she chose over me I'm not going to compete knowing I give my all to prove from the beginning

1) secure in herself becos she is rooted in Christ 2) A respectful woman, someone who values the man strength and use it in leadership 3) A Christian man will stay away from immodest woman (prov 6:25) 4) Christian men are attracted to a emotionally predictive women 5) An inviting Christian woman is very attractive 6) A christian men are interested in a women who has a genuine relationship with Christ

I always pray for a great Christian woman who has never been married,never had children,white like me,I mean great as in praying for me alot,reading the Word together,going to church together,treating people well,putting up with me,understanding my quirks,would want to be with me whether I am doing well or not,now I was just talking about the kind of woman I am praying for,what I bring to the table is another topic!!!

Hi! I have been watching your videos and want to thankyou! I am single 30 year old christian woman, im struggling with #1.being secure , 2. Showing respect, 4. Being consistent and 5. Being inviting . I really want to be all those things , but honestly im human and flawed with may insecurities. Could you give us some practical advice on how to be inviting, it really is not easy being a girl and being vulnerable and getting ignored. It has happened to me all my life , so its hard to believe a christian man is honestly interested in pursuing me and i want God to heel this things, but honestly haven't figured out how...Thank you again!

My advice to u as another woman: .stop looking to get married focus on knowing yourself & accepting yourself. Being respectful of who? If u aren't married--- normal respect for any person is all that is needed to be respectful. I think you might be wanting it too much & have a quiet desperation. I've been there. Not judging. Pray that God will change you to be happy & content as a single. Pray in faith for a husband & marriage & for trusting the Lord. Ask God to make you into who He wants. He will do it sis. -💖Luv in Christ.

Michelle.Wiesner: you.can do.some things to improve your chances a) always be yourself b) seek feedback/advice.from close friends or family members. C) most importantly pray to God let him know how you feel and ask for his guidance.

Ah, I’d like to say women and men receive love in similar ways. Women also crave being respected, and too often men don’t see that as an important thing to give us.
