1. Realize men and women are different. 2. Men crave respect. 3. All men want to be great providers for their family. Work is very important. 4. Sex is important for men and directly related to love. They need it to feel connected as women need communication. 5. Men do not naturally understand women. But will be open to learn about her issues. Be patient. 6. His heart dies if he does not have any meaningful adventure in his life. He needs to contribute and be useful for others.

I love this! I tried to be the best girlfriend that I could be in my relationship with my boyfriend of 7 years. Things just never got better. I found out he was a liar, sex addict (plus full of rage and selfish) and really did not respect me. Plus 7 years without a real commitment (marriage) showed me he really did not love me. So I broke up and am trying to heal and become the best person I can be for the man GOD has in mind for me.

I know exactly what you're talking about but on the same token men need to give you something to respect you wouldn't have to talk about it or question it if he was just doing what he was supposed to do not that women need a man to 100% take care of them but the most important thing we need from a man is respect loyalty honor and to feel safe with that man then all of the things noted in this conversation I don't think women would have a problem doing or giving
@kingspamaccount
@kingspamaccount 5 жыл бұрын
@@lisalambert1465 You have it backwards. The women should respect her husband even when he isn't the man he should be. The same way God loves us even though we fall short of his standards daily. The same is true for the man. He should love his wife even when she is disrespectful and not being the wife he thinks she should be. It's easier said than done, but that is the reason we need God's grace and strength.

"Love is a choice" "you can't build on feelings" these sentences can be poisonous. I started a relationship on the fundamentals of these sentences. We made sense together in a logical way. We shared the same interests etc. But I missed a big point, which was Love. Luckily I ended it after 3 months. I just didn't love him in that way. No attraction what so ever. Feelings are important. Not letting anyone tell me otherwise again. There has to be Love to build upon and to even make the choice to keep loving. Can't just pick a good christian guy and think he will do.

Arturo Mena .... what i will say is being able to respect your man is key. a "yes yes" person never gets respect because to a degree, they show disrespect to themselves. you have to stay true to your core values and principles, not be afraid to say "no". It's connected to the sexual drive and the need to provide and protect for a family. if a man is weak (not saying be a jerk or abusive) attraction drops because "weak" behaviour sends out the message you can't effectively lead a family. edited: ⬆in short. ..it is a bit more complicated than that but that's part of the basis. can't wait to see that video 😊

1. I would say love your wife: she needs to know that you hear her, you understand her, or at least you are trying to understand and see her view point 2. Take a stand: Make sure that you put God first. Take time in the morning to spend it with Christ. You need God as your covering. Just as your wife and family needs you to provide. 3. Keep your promises: If you say you're going to do something, just do it. No matter how hard, no matter how much it costs you. You're wife will respect you because you are a man of your word. 4. Pray: Be a man of prayer. If there is an issue that comes up no matter how big or small, humble yourself and pray. Take everything to God in prayer. Paul said follow me as I follow Christ. And you have to be a man who can lead his family, while submitting to Christ daily. 5. Marriage is hard: Marriage is not easy, especially if you have different viewpoints (even if you both are Christian). Be willing to say sorry. Be the bigger person for your marriage. Even God repented, and decided not to destroy Israel for serving other gods when they were in the desert. If God kept his covenant to Israel (a bride who didn't even want to hear her Bridegroom speak face to face but wanted a mediator Moses) for Abraham, Isaac and Jacob's sake, He expects you to keep yours for HIS sake. There might be a time when your wife won't talk to you, and you don't know why or what you even did. She might not even respect you anymore. She might become unappreciative of the things you do for her. But God STILL expects you to keep your marriage covenant. And brother you can't do it alone. That's why you have to be a man of prayer, asking God for guidance and waiting for His answer. Fight for your marriage, most of the time the fighting looks a lot like love, fasting and prayer.

Appreciate your woman. She's putting forth so much of herself for her family, and puts herself last a lot of the time. If she feels like she is not appreciated and is taken for granted, it hurts. It makes her feel she is sacrificing her self and time and efforts for a bunch of ingrates and self entitled jerks, and leads to despondency and hopelessness.

Skietblomke thank you so much for your prayers and @jennajewel85 thank you too! On day 30 for me i told the Lord i will launch my KZbin channel with my testimony. My mission for my KZbin channel is to break the chains of many men who are consumed by this horrible addiction. Many men either don’t think it’s wrong or they don’t want to tell anyone in fear that their image would be ruined...to say the least i too was a man who feared tarnishing my imagine if anyone ever found out about it but sharing something so real and vulnerable like that with the people in your life is so important!!! And in all honesty i don’t care about my image like i once did because in Christ my image is secure. My mission is to share my testimony and offer tools to these men but the Holy Spirits mission for me is deliverance for them. I truly and fully believe many will be delivered!!! And I’m pumped!!! I know how it was for me before anyone knew about my addiction and it was not a fun place to be in, being at the mercy of lust. But it stops. Generational curses will be broken in the name of JESUS CHRIST!!!! Many across the world will be delivered!!! I believe it!! 100000%

That is awesome. I am a Woman and i just got pursued by a Christian man who i know loves the Lord so much to my surprise he came on very strong physically and was very disrespectful. Like just decided that i was his and started pushing himself onto me without asking . in that area of life he's still completely in the ways of the world. He really needs to learn how to respect and treat a woman physically before pursuing a woman. I thought that was a given for Christian men but apparently not. I'm glad you waited to get free from that before pursuing the girl.

I agree with all those points. But the point about adventure does not pertain to only men. Women need adventure to! And something dies inside of us when we are stuck in a house only doing domestic things. Do not be deceived to think that women thrive only in a domestic setting. Women need aventure just as much as men do! And both partners should be fostering that in each other.

Jaisha26 I have found it! I'll live my life adventurously. I am an adaptive athlete. And a motivational speaker. I think the struggle is that marriage and domestic life doesn't always mix with this lifestyle that I've chosen. It has been a barrier to a Christian relationship in my life. Because I cannot be expected to fulfill all the domestic requirements of wifehood defined by christians. But I also think that adventure should not be exempt from a wife's role.

I agree with the point of men don’t naturally understand women. I had a conversation about my hair. I’m a African woman with Dread locs and my hair is always a topic with a man. I was asked why I couldn’t just do my hair like normal women. I did feel offended.. but I had to again apply grace because Guys naturally don’t knit anything about hair. But It was a topic sensitive to me in watch I had to change the subject before I blew up. I need patience in this area of understanding that men are ignorant about women even if they have many interactions with them.

#1...I'm rolling my eyes because it's a shame that that point had to be pointed out. In this gender reversal type of world, everyone is confused. May God help us! #2 Absolutely- respect is key. #3..Mark, I'm wondering if all men are being taught that being a good provider is a good thing. The topic of money is such sensitive topic in which can be misconstrued as one (women) being "Gold Diggers". The topic of being a provider, at the end, is about feeling safety and I don't know if that is how it is being seen by men in general. 🤔?🤔? #4...For sure (little advise to women and men) don't use sex as a means of punishment. (I got that straight from I Corinthians 7:5) It will back fire. #5...Mark, sometime I believe we women don't even understand ourselves all the time...expecting for you guys to get us 100% is just wrong! Lol! I think as women we are to remind ourselves that we can be wonderful and complex...a little complex. 🙂 Solution: Women, we need to use are words to communicate- Men are not telepathic! #6 Understood...basically we need to give you some space, and I agree. I think that during that time, one (women) can take advantage and also deepen our relationship with God on a one on one basis. And it can also be good timing for "me time"-relaxing or having a cup of coffee with the girls. Again, communication from both the man and woman (keeping each other in the loop of their time) helps with building trust as well. Great video Mark! God bless and thank you!

Rose Morales, number 3 isn’t taught, it’s in our genetics to provide. God created that way because men are the image of Christ (who provide life and provided us a way to Him) and women are the image of the church (the human of the relationship with Christ). We are very visual creatures and seeing is the number one learning tool that we have. God is complex and He creates us to show who He is. This is not to say one is better than other, but a complementary to each other. Funny enough, if we just do our gender roles, we’ll be much happier because that’s how God created us.

We are waiting to be married before having sex, but he feels we can still have foreplays and not have sex. I'm not of the same opinion, as I believe our bodies is the temple of Christ and I would rather wait till marriage before exploring. I'm cool with kisses and hugs but anything other than that I'm out.

Hi, Mark can you help me with a piece of advice? I met a guy who really likes me, he's funny and a good guy, but the problem is that the relationship that he's trying to build with me is not Christ centred. It is only about us, us, us. He is a believer, I've already told him about my boundaries, but in this area he's not really what my heart desires: he doesn't study the Bible, doesn't listen to sermons or any other Christian sources, he rarely prays, said he would go to church because I go, which is wrong cause he doesn't do these things out of love for God and I don't want to become an idol. I really don't know what to do, I know missionary dating is not a good idea, but in my case he is a believer, I wouldn't trust him to lead me though, cause he doesn't spend that time with God and isn't led by Him. Should I wait until he matures as a Christian( though I don't know how he will cause I'm kinda sick of trying to talk to him about deeper stuff and him only approving; the man didn't know that Eve was created from Adam's rib😩😩😩)As I'm writing I realising I'm giving myself the answer. Though he's a nice guy and a believer, he doesn't do the things that a Christian man who really loves God should do like praying or studying the Bible. The problem is I don't know how to break it off. I tried once and I felt so lonely and sad, even though I knew God's love was more than enough.I feel like I've crossed some emotional boundaries and now it's really difficult to say to him that it's not a good idea to date. Sometimes when I'm with friends who have boyfriends/ girlfriends I start feeling lonely, so I tried online dating and I got myself in this mess: I constantly feel bad if I want to tell him that I don't want to talk to him because he's not a mature Christian, I don't want to break his heart, but I also feel bad cause I desire a good Christian man who can lead me closer to God. How can I break it off without feeling guilty and without making him suffer?
@mariahr2801
@mariahr2801 6 жыл бұрын
Is God telling you to date Him, and only Him? I believe that would really satisfy your need. A break up and a break of soul tie could be what is necessary for him to go on the journey of reflecting and deeper thinking for himself. If God has revealed to you what you need to do, then all you can do is to pray for him and leave it to God.

Vegan With Love Hi, thanks for sharing your heart. It's a good thing that you already know or feel that he is not deeply in love with the Lord. He might just be a nominal Christian who has never really known the Lord which is evident in his life. Beloved, he doesnt seem to be one who is mature enough to spiritually lead you someday. You don't need a wimp by your side who would just go to church when dragged someday. You dont expect him to magically change once you're married. You would want a warrior who fights his battles and struggles on his knees and always seeking the Ultimate Source. Take heed of these red flags you mentioned. Pray for him, pray about it. Maybe the one thing he should be pursuing right now is Christ, not you. And it would be best if you ended it now. Cut all emotional soul ties though its hard. God will sustain you. You need not fear. If it is His will for you to get married someday remember that He will provide. He is still the best matchmaker around. Do not settle. In Christ, Jessi

Protactiny and Maria thank you sooo much for your kind words and encouragement, it means so much to me💛I don't have so many christian friends who are truly seeking God and listening to His voice so the one friend that I told about my struggles with this guy told me that maybe I would influence him and he would change, but I knew God was not leading me to do that cause you can get sick sitting next to a sick person but you can't become healthy simply staying next to someone who's healthy. I knew God was the one who changes hearts and not people, I knew that it was such a struggle for me not being able to share things related to my faith, sermons, books, opinions, I felt like he was like I was talking to a wall when I was talking about God and my passion for Him. God was not the centre of our relationship, though I wanted this so deeply😔it was only about us, getting to know each other and romance, that's all, but I wanted to get closer to God through this relationship. If I will ever have a husband, I want him to truly love God. It's ok, I know God will bring the right person at the right moment and I would rather be single for the rest of my life than be with a man who wants to live his life only for himself, no judgement, it's just not me. I don't want to live a day far away from God, I crave His love, kindness and all about Him❤️I've seen the dangers of unequally yoked relationships or dating someone who calls himself a believer, but doesn't really want to pursue a relationship with God. It was so difficult to spend my time with God, he didn't understand the value of prayer and studying God's word, the Bible made me feel like I was so weird. It's hard, in my country I feel like it's a shallow christianity, I feel weird when I say I read the scriptures or I hear God's voice, or God is leading me to do something, cause they look so creepy at me😂I don't really care, but I don't know how to share my faith when I'm dating. I guess I'll just have to be more selective and cautious and not let myself go with the flow, be controled bu emotions, feeling infatuated cause they like me so much and they pursue me. I will wait on the Lord, He will bring the right one, no more soul ties. I will be intentional in my singleness, not just passively wait on the Lord, but also be more careful next time when I meet someone. When I see red flags, I don't have to ignore them and say I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he didn't really mean that😑😂thank you so much again, this is an amazing community❤️

many women feel the same way too. like you say men feel when their domesticated. when your constantly home takei g care of kids and he is haveing all the adventures and sports etc and women stuck at home no adventures for her no time out for her. dont get me wrong. is not that we dont love our familys but a nice break is necesary. just like men do. a good husband lives with his wife with understanding knowing she gets tired and slowly her dreams die too.

This was great!!! All I ask is the is if any of you men reading this fulfill your need for adventure by being a 'weekend warrior' please be smart and follow safety standards that construction workers must abide by by-law. It doesn't make you less of a man but MORE of one, because it shows your family you wouldn't want to risk your life and be unable to protect them. My father-in-law became a quadriplegic because of making some mistakes and doing something stupid while installing a Murphy bed. The whole bed and the unsecured wall cabinet fell down on him and his wife. They were trapped. If the neighbors hadn't heard his wife would have watched him die. She could have been badly injured as well. Seeing him shaking on the bed at the ICU was one of the worst experiences of my life. My ex always got mad at my in the past for saying anything if I felt unsafe with his driving (including up the side of a cliff with no barrier in Crete, where I begged him to 'slow down'. He interpreted my feelings as not trusting him and he would get very angry. So please don't be like this with your future wife! There is lots of ways to have adventures and be safe. Since my separation I even went up Macchu Picchu in Peru by myself! I would have loved to do that with a partner, but that is just how it worked out since I was already there for a women's retreat. Ladies love a little adventure too you know! But that doesn't mean we want recklessness! It makes us feel so unsafe with our partners and it damages our sense of self-worth when we are criticized for expressing our need for safety because it's misenterpreted as a lack of trust or desire for adventure.

another thing you may say men need to take care of Gods matters of the church. it goes like this God first God , your family, and than the church and ministry s. many marriges have gone down the drain cause church became first, God second and the family the back seat. how can you take care of the churches needs when your own family is starving of atention, family time and there needs are not being met. as a husband that is your main responsability so your prayers wont be hindered. The mayority of men focuses on what the women should do but dont really read and practice what their suppose to do. If you really love you fiance or spouse you would really focus more in getting to know them their likes and dislikes put interest in her gifts and talents. she is not just a mother a wife . she is a daughter of the most high God and the Lord gave her talents and gifts also. help her develop it so she can also flurish cause God will hold both acountable of the way we treated each other.

If men elevate sex to that level this is an excuse to use a physical act to define them and actually tell women that this matters too much above their partner. No women can compete with this mind set. And #5 is relative. How do you know what men or woman naturally know anyways? Each sex does not know everything about the other only because they are not that sex. Duh! Why create barriers by saying this as a generalized statement for all men?

I get that men crave sex, but here's my problem with pastors almost verbally berating me with this message: Women hear "give it up no matter how you are feeling", or "if you feel distant give it up and he will start meeting your needs". Now I've also been told those messages quite literally as well hence why I probably hear those subtle messages in the simple statement "men need sex". and if one more person tells me if I dont give it he'll go elsewhere, then I say "How dare you dump my spouses lack of self control onto me". What do you say to the wife who's husband has a perverted unholy view to sex? What advice do you have for the woman who has given it up time and again only to be left feeling like a whore? What do you say to the woman who was almost raped by her husband but had enough strength to put a stop to it- to risk his wrath in other ways if only to physically protect herself? Men, here's a secret- a woman will give up her body to you without issue when she feels cared for and feels safe. Now, in a healthy context yes there is a time and place for a wife to give up sex to meet her husband's need. But why do we not expect men to give the emotional safety and security to a woman? Where is the man's responsibility? I was more willing - I craved that physical connection more when I knew it was emotionally safe and there was that security and certainty of where the relationship was at. Why are men letting each other off the hook so easily? Obviously I've been through a great deep hurt... otherwise I wouldn't take things to this level. But maybe we need to talk about this level more?

Thank you for this video, very informative. However, I do have a question. How important is a woman's body to a man. For instance, I do not have the ideal body like other women do, nor the looks. And to make matters less worse, I had an operation when I was baby which left an ugly scar. I just feel as if I might not be good enough for a man even if I do meet him one day....

Chydova... The most common way the enemy loves to attack a woman's self-esteem is by putting insecurities in her head. They're lies! I'll share a conversation that I had with a guy that left me in awe! The topic of family, babies and how a woman's changes after having children. This guy said, with absolutely no restraint, that he can't wait to see his wife have babies because he found stretch marks to be sexy. That's right, he used the word "sexy". 😮 I didn't know what to say when I heard that, but it made me feel good hearing it because I realized that all this pressure we at time put on ourselves as women (and men do it too) it's not necessary. Basically, don't even think about it!

this makes me so sad. I feel this way also though I know it's a lie of the enemy. I just can't seem to reconcile what I know with how I feel. Mark's comment is what I've been waiting for my whole life but the world only provides the opposite in men: they've wanted me for the physical not because they loved me as a person. I am waiting for God to provide the godly man of character who will love me for me.

ApplyGodsWord.com/Mark Ballenger "When a husband loves his wife, the way the woman looks becomes his standard of beauty." Beautifully stated. So true. That first sentence sums it all up. To the original poster... I come from a background of serious mental, verbal and emotional abuse from my dad. I've always been overweight and suffered low self esteem as I was reminded, I do not look like the esteemed females on television. My husband married a broken woman. I struggled with beauty for a long time. And even still,to this day. But I can say this. I think what we women perceive to be beautiful, is taught. We are trained at a very young age to adopt an ideology of beauty. 99.9% of the time, this ideology is false. A doctrine of lies. Why do we believe these things? Start asking yourself, when the lies begin..."Who told you that?" Line up the accusations, statements, suggestions, threats, fear....ALL of it with God's word. If it dosesn't mirror or reiterate God's words... Then it's simply not true. Rebuke the evil with the truth. Speak it often and place your faith in our Loving Daddy, who ALWAYS lifts you up. Don't believe the hype. You ARE beautiful... made in HIS image. Blessings beautiful woman of God.

It was a struggle to get him to do exactly that but when I got a higher paying job , he wanted to sit down and make me pay more. He also has regularly stated he has stopped dating girls because they felt that way but he wants all the respect in the world and more. How do you respect a man? Is it by listening and doing everything he says? But the same man refuses to take anything you say on board?

as a man. i disagree with the sex part. sex is not that important. doing activities sise by side is wayy more important. for example fixing a car, if you an your girl both work on the car together as a team. i feel more emotionally connected, stable an can bond better then sex imo. another example is playing video games side by side. thats the best. also being a companion is better. ime. sex causes distance and problems its a distraction. because it becomes the main focus. so i disagree with what he says on tht part. an i am a man.btw

1 women and men are different 2 women crave consistency and emotional connection 3 having a social life is important to us it calms us down if we are riled 4 some of us like sex, others don't and we even have some of us who only can have sex sometimes don't pressure us to it though you'll wind up agrivated 6 all of a woman's misunderstanding of a man is being uncertain with himself on what he wants 7 and we actually would die without love in our lives we definitely are always going to remain in touch with our emotions regardless we're made better feelers as you are made better thinkers.

Every man loves sex, sure. But don't forget to move a bit further North, as well. Followed Mom around WalMart once, not having had dinner the night before or breakfast and lunch that day. She swore that the last thing she wanted to do was look at paint swatches. Did that, and as we were headed out of the paint-aisle, she says "oh, look, more swatches!". I just about broke down and cried like a 4 year old. And I was 20-something at the time. Food is, arguably just as (if not more) important to a man's emotional health.

Thank You for your inspiration. It has often agitated me when the woman says, "I understand you completely". I think generally woman are too confident in there understanding of men, to be honest. We are also expected to read their minds and should not be treated like Nazi's for asking many questions to learn the ways of our woman. Men are highly affirmed and respected by acts of affection and love to really be heard. After all, it is our duty to lay our life down for the gentle lamb. We need simple feedback without nuances and subtleties. We need to know how she thinks and feels on a logical level, without drama, which tends to shut us down.

I think people in general, have a had time understanding each other, and communicating in a non confrontational way. I grew up with three brothers and a father, so nothing in this video comes as a surprise to me. I really came to read the comments, lol. But just because I have, doesn't mean I understand them all, as they are each individuals. Just because I am a woman doesn't mean I understand every woman's needs; if there is one thing I've learned from these series is I am clearly not like most women. Understanding gender differences gives us a launch pad to begin an exploration of that specific person.
