Applying Kapton Tape to your 3D Printer Print Bed

Simple and easy way to apply kapton tape to a print bed. The print bed in this particular case was of about 200x200mm, so I bought kapton tape of 200mm width, but the technique should work when using multiple shorter tape strips. You can buy the kapton tape I used on the following link:

So if you apply it, do you still need to put glue?

I use kapton tape only. I've never used glue, hairspray, abs slurry, painters tape,. etc. Never any issues with 1st layer adhesion. Bed leveling and having the bed heated to the right temp for your type of plastic is key. Having an enclosure and preheating about 30min beforehand helps any warping as well.
