😬 You know I love y'all, but there was only roughly 50 seconds of actual legend application/wipe off footage. I guess this isn't a "How To", but I was hoping for a more detailed look at the application process, what flashing looks like, discussion of how to tell when it's time to wipe off, etc.

That tip on removing license plate was good, I never thought of doing that. Please do a product review of Legend ceramic coating in the future. Maybe even a comparison between it and a leading competitor like cquartz!

I will never understand why detailers trying to show off or promote a new product, especially a new coating, choose a white car. I’m a huge fan of beadmaker so when Legend came out I have to agree with a previous comment. It is not friendly to southern states in warm, humid climates. The product is marketed for consumer and not the professional detailer. The issue with this is most consumers in the south do not own an indoor climate controlled wash bay. I have applied Legend in the early mornings at the lowest temp possible, but humidity kills Legend and if you live in the south, go with an easier product to apply or wait for the winter dry days.

Any issue with high spots. I know a few black vehicles i have had high spot issue when pulled out into direct sun. I realize white and light color the high spots are harder to detect. Thanks

TRC, how many towels should I be using on a coating removal? Like do I have to use a new towel after every panel or can a couple of removal/a couple leveling towels do the entire car?

Why are the new pearl pucks not being used? I know that the directions say to use their applicator but I'm use most if not all manufacturers say the same.

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking forward to using the new puck on my 2020 Mustang GT Premium coating project. Lots of bends and curves that the puck will transition over the surfaces very easy.

@@demonslayer8085 the applicator, supplied with legend is from Autofiber and features the barrier. Our orange pearl applicators(orange) do not have a barrier. But they still work great.

Came out looking great. Legend is nice as I recently applied it onto my car. It is not the most user friendly as it is very finicky with higher humidity and mid 70 degree weather. But if applied correctly it is nice. Topping it with Sole added that little extra something.

Was told this alright that legend isn’t that easy to use . Very grabby & not the slickest coating to use .. was going to purchase it but opted against it due to its high price & sub standard reports

You should use a high PH reset shampoo to break down the cellant or wax than do a decontamination even if the car is new. You never know what kind of particles came on it. Than use a IPA solution to remove residue of greace, wax cellant than apply your ceramic coating. I think it's the best way to prep the surface in my opinion.

You should consider not making microfiber wash mits and Chenille mits. Only pad style. IMO most people prefer a pad style. Grabbing is much more comfortable. I prefer my mits for baseball.

Nice work Levi. We have been loving Legend in the shop! I installed 2 layers of Legend topped with Sole out the gate on my personal truck in mid April. Seems like this is going to last a long time…

So I used Legend recently in a air conditioned shop below 80 degrees humidity wasn’t that high and it flashed real fast and wipe off was really bad. Same ole decon process , polished down as well.

CSL is easier to use and you get a similar result if you top it with EXO x2. Love it.

As they said in the video... it will basically cause groves in the coating . Basically starts washing off before it got to chemically bond and physically cross link with the paint

what dilution do you guys use for brake buster in the ik foamer? how many ounces of BB and water? please also will you guys be reworking the chenille mitts in the future? i recently came across pro detailer magazine issue 8 and from their testing they found the chenille to be the safest mitt, the one used for testing was 90/10. whats the makeup on yours? no info on your website

Brake buster they generally use 10:1. 10oz water for every 1 Oz brake buster

Shoot...I was hoping for more details on the actual coating application. What to look for on how/when it flashes, how to prime the pad, how to avoid high spots or what to do if you get one...etc. Anyone considering applying a coating should already have the wash/decon/prep stages down. I still love you guys and you know I'm going to watch...just giving a little feedback for future vids.
