SolidWorks crashes every time I try to adjust the refinement. Am I doing something wrong?
@TriMechVTTs5 жыл бұрын
One reason why SOLIDWORKS might crash when adjusting the refinement would be the amount of resources needed to create a mesh increases substantially as you increase the percentage. It's possible that your computer may not have the processing power to run the refinement adjustment quickly. Here is a link to system requirements for the software: www.solidworks.com/sw/support/SystemRequirements.html - Ben, Technical Support Applications Expert.

@@TriMechVTTswe have to use solidworks for modelling and a few people's computers couldn't even run it due to memory issues. My laptop was on the verge of the minimum requirement so whenever I went to render or edit anything big, it would freeze up for a certain amount of time...

As a Canadian company we love the metric system too, but Stratasys is from Minnesota, USA and that is their unit of choice. :)

Using the metric system instead of inches is not gonna give you more accuracy. An inch is defined as 2.54cm, in case you didn't know.
