Doctors speak with such an ease about rate of amputation, and other serious surgical or chemical interventions. They process dozens or hundreds of people, gather statistics and go home. But losing a leg or arm is an irreparable disaster to every one of them personally. Viewer discretion is definitely advised when listening to a doctor.

Fantastic talk that was well-delivered. As a medical student, learned lots on standard of care and what realistic expectations to set with my future patients.

Great information about diabetic wound care. I've had an ulcer on my foot for two and a half years now. It's very close to healing but that's as far as it goes. Everything has been tried but nothing is working. Last summer I took over my own care because it seemed my doctor had given up. I had been having water and swelling issues for better than a year and I think that is what's causing the healing problems I'm having now.
