Approach® Z30 - Golf Laser Range Finder

Great features to tie into compatible Garmin Approach watches! It would be great however if you guys improved the CT10 sensors and post round insights in the Garmin Golf app to better compete with ARCCOS and Shot Scope. I have a S62, but am really considering going with a Shot Scope product b/c of the sensors and excellent (and subscription free) post round analysis features.

Great new product, will this range relay function come to Z82 as well or is this new technology that is only in the Z30?

Thank you for your question. The Range Relay feature is only in the Z30. The Z82, however, already shows a laser range arc, right in the display.

@@GarminRetailTraining Thanks for the quick reply, I have a z82 and a garmin Tactix 7 amoled which I use for golf, so I'm wondering if I switch to the Z30 and measure the distance to the flag at the start of the hole, will the center number on the watch be the laser measured distance to the flag all the time as I move me against the flag? So that at all times I get recommended club by the virtual caddy based on the laser distance to the flag.

I bought it and used it yesterday, this is a fantastic product it worked exactly as I hoped.

​@@bhr74hi mate, what are your thoughts on this? I have a Z82 and assumed this was the upgrade, but seems to have less features, other than the range relay. Not sure whether to swap.....

@@GarminRetailTraining But now with Z30 I see how inaccurate some of the golfmaps are, when z30 place the pin on the greenview on my watch its not near at all in the reality. Is there somewhere to contact to get more accurats maps for the course? :-)

Why is it not compatible with g80?
