As a XP11 flight simmer with 1000 hrs on PMDG 737 and now another 1000 on IXEG 737, I just moved to XP12 and I am learning my first Bus, the Toliss A321. Not much reading of the manual, video's are really helpful. This video is absolutely invaluable to me! So far, my 3rd flight went really well, I got the Auto thrust sorted out, the LS button for landing was not forgotten this time! ( I did a few circuits of EGPH trying to capture the ILS lol) Direct to on the FMGS is working well, really enjoying the hand flying, an no trimming!! Great work flight deck team!

Vielen lieben Dank fürs Anschauen und das sehr gute Feedback! Ich denke, dass das Video überfällig war. Oft wurde ich gefragt, wann wir das alles endlich mal zeigen. Allerdings wird diese Ausführlichkeit eher die Ausnahme bleiben müssen, weil uns dafür einfach die Zeit fehlt. Hier hatten wir sehr viel Zeit zwischen zwei Flügen und konnten sie gut nutzen. Die nächsten Videos werden wieder dem bekannten Standard entsprechen. Allerdings wird es bestimmt auch zukünftig immer mal wieder neue Einblicke geben. Sonst würde es ja zu langweilig werden. Was den Outside-Check und die Programmierung ds Flightmanagement-Systems betrifft, werde ich das Video nochmal in drei Teile aufteilen und jeweils als Referenz Verfügbar machen. Diese Dinge laufen ja immer gleich ab.

Your explanations are so clear, I think people can learn most of the normal procedures just from watching the videos on this channel. The abnormal procedures are another kettle of fish though, and I guess why they pay you the big bucks to keep us safe.

Vielen Dank fürs Anschauen und das gute Feedback! Der Basisstandard bleibt gleich. Ich versuche nur, wann immer es geht, noch ein paar zusätzliche Informationen einzubauen. Hier hatten wir sehr viel Zeit zwischen zwei Flügen und konnten sie dazu nutzen mal einiges zu erklären. Das wird nicht immer so sein. Der Outside-Check läuft im übrigen ja immer gleich ab. Die Reihenfolge der Programmierung der Systeme auch. Einen schönen Tag noch!
