As a coincidence to celebrate, finally, my membership (best investment, tbh) I did that exact flight earlier today on the simulator. 😅 Corfu being one of my favorite spots in the Sim is really fun to fly to and from and looks like the real thing thanks to brilliant scenery addons. I do only need some more insights as to what inputs you do in the RAD/NAV page on departures and arrivals😂. Many greetings to that smart FO. I used to live some time in Apulia and the beaches near Taranto are among the bests in Europe. Stay tuned.

There are some inputs to the RAD/NAV page which are mandatory and others are up to the pilots. For example, if you fly a VOR or a NDB approach, you have to tune the appropriate VOR and the course or the NDB. This is required because the raw data information has to be monitored during these approaches. Also, a certain DME may be required for an ILS approach or so. This has to be tuned before the approach. ILS frequencies are usually automatically preset and have just to be crosschecked. We also use the RAD/NAV page to tune VORs or DMEs to show parts of our company engine out procedures. Sometimes, we do not tune anything because we do not see any need for it. But if we fly in areas with GPS outages, like Cyprus or so, we even do a setup for the arrival routing along the VOR radials, to make sure that we are always able to crosscheck our position and to continue the flight even without GPS or our IRS navigation system position information.

Ja, der Swingover am Ende hat Spaß gemacht und war in jeder Hinsicht sinnvoll: Kürzere Rollzeit, längere Landebahn und keine Überquerung einer aktiven Start- und Landebahn erforderlich! Werden die Abkürzungen die im Flug angefragt werden (Spritersparnis) eigentlich erst während dem Flug abgesprochen oder schon im Briefing vor dem Flug? It depends on a lot of factors, like the airplane. But generally, I think CAT1 is with baro and CAT II / III with RA.

2024 war oliven-öl günstiger als bei den türken 😊 👍 gyros-preise (erst 8 in '23 dann 5,60 € fleischtasche mit fleischwindung ,käse/zwiebel ) sind auch stabil bis weihnachten/sylvester '24 ...aber dat soll nicht über 0,33ml preise hinter der passkontrolle hinwegtäuschen in dus 😮💨 !
