OH YESSSSS!!!! I have been trying to fly this since 2 days (did it in FSX 9 years ago and performed poorly lol) I came here to make that request and you already have it up. I haven't watched yet (gotta run off to work) but I know what I'll watch during my lunch break. Thank you so much, Emmanuel.

Interesting and thanks for the video. Im currently about to be trained to operate into INN for real. I find these flight sim videos helpful in visualising while studying the part C before my actual sim. Fyi my company procedure differ a bit. We confg G down F15 before your initial turn. and have a slightly different visual aid for the Downwind leg. We still use the Church though. Aging interesting seeing the slight variances.

Indeed, LOWI is very challenging and a fine learning one at that! Thanks for your top notch teaching and hope to see more from you Emmanuel! Ciao4Now

Have you considered getting a head tracker such as track IR or tobii? It makes an enormous difference to your sim flying experience, and really helps with the workload in the sim since you can simply turn your head to look around.
@A330Driver2 жыл бұрын
I tried TrackIR a couple years ago. Did not really like the fact that I had to move my head while keeping the eyes pointed at the same position. That's how I ruled those eye trackers out for myself.

i was just messing about in the -700 and noticed a bug with the reverse thrust. if you are idle, and put full reversers in and push the aircraft backwards, build up some speed, then disengage reversers; the aircraft leaps forward in a really abrupt way... try it if you get time and you'll see what i mean
@A330Driver2 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't be surprised if that simply comes down to an Asobo bug... but I've put it in the tracker for investigation.

@@A330Driver if coming from the west?
@jonnyjt_st15062 жыл бұрын
@@aviationchris5091 still not, its always a localiser approach, typically when coming from the west in light winds you'd simply get straight in 08. Runway always by ATC and can change at any time during approach. When Innsbruck has strong winds, it's usually Föhn and therefore 08 is preferably as its better sheltered.

Great video. I have about 2,000 hours in the B737-800 X-plane 11 Zibo and just few this circuit with a go around using RW 26, but I had a lot of trouble to get the FMC to take the SimBrief waypoints and airways. I had to play around with it and delete some, etc. What are the waypoints and airways that you would recommend starting at Munich Cat 111 ILS RW 08R to Innsbruck Austria ether RW 08 or RW 26 to program in my FMC ? Thanks!

Hi , can I ask question about the auto brakes? Every time I switch them off it turns the brakes on almost like turning the parking brake on. I have tried retracing flaps and speed brake, using the brakes, moving the throttles up and down quickly, but nothing helps. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but usually just wait till I get to gate and stop then turn off. thanks
@granthenderson6874 ай бұрын
Nice video , just one question , why disconnect the auto throttle once you do the turn at the church and line up with the run way , wouldn't the AT be safe to keep on with most landings ?
@A330Driver4 ай бұрын
A/T would mess your pitch control up as it would constantly adjust the thrust. The pitch/power couple would actively start to work against you.
@granthenderson6874 ай бұрын
@@A330Driver I would not of thought that but that makes sense , thanks for answering

Hello, nice Video. One Question about the ND. In the lower left/right is the display of VOR 1 and VOR 2. Now i see, sometimes here the Ident and the DME is Display, in your video only the DME. What exactly is the rule here ? I did not found it in the FCOM, or did i miss it maybe ? Thanks Matthias
@A330Driver Жыл бұрын
Hi Matthias, As long as the station has a DME you should see ident and DME. However there used to be an issue with MSFS in the past which did not allow the ident to be displayed on pure DME stations (without associated VOR).
@StarflightVirtual Жыл бұрын
@@A330Driver Hello, thanks a lot. I have to use Prosim in my Homecockpit and there is NOTHING displayed. Funny: when i tune in OEV in NAV1, in the PFD is the ident and the DME displayed, but nothing in the ND lower left corner. Same for OEJ ? Thats wrong, there ( ND lower left ) should be at least the DME be displayed ... right ? Matthias
