I'm glad there are people who appreciate the more slow paced and non fighting aspects of this show, I have seen some complain when Windbreaker spends a significant amount of time on slice of life and character drama instead of action all the time

Just finished the episode and came immediately to your reaction because I KNEW you'd understand the bars. To go from "Despite what it's become, it's still a sweet read bean bread" relating to no matter who you've become now, at your core it's still you. Then immediately after they wanna hit us with, "Huh, more rain? How strange." "You're right. How strange. Even though the sun (Choji) is already shining again." BAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

The reason why i have been watching you for so long from naruto is precisely becoz of the breakdowns you do on the smallest of the philosophy the author intends to convey to us and its so good to relate with someone who also understands the show from a different perspective Keep doing your work will always be there to support

wind breaker has excellent fights but also great post-fight reflection moments. great character development moments and it takes its time in making the characters and the viewers understand what comes out of the fights. fights are conversations, but there are also important conversations after the fights, so I'm glad you are able to appreciate all of that, thank you!

I feel like Togame taking half of the red bean bread the way he did is supposed to symbolise that he will shoulder half of the burden and responsibility for shishitorens reputation and Choji isnt going to be alone in doing so

I love your reaction and analysis every time I watch your channel! You’re one of the very few reactor that can understand Wind Breaker wholeheartedly and that this anime is so much more than fighting. Looking forward to watch your reaction to the next episode. Ps. Have you watch the anime “Run with The Wind”? If you like haikyuu & wind breaker, I recommend you try watching it

Knowing why Ume like eating with everyone is so....touching. Man, wind breaker is one of those stories where the plot isn't something extraordinary and the fights are yeah good but nothing that's gonna make you say this shit is the best but overall the way they develop the characters and the philosophy around it is just....somehow relatable.

Whew, his backstory when it comes to food is aloooot, I'm not gonna say anything else but I can't wait for the anime to give Umemiya's full backstory

I ALWAYS KNEW ADONIS WOULD LLOVE THISS! some people actually only expect the action-packed moments just because that's what's expected in a gang type anime and they ignore the rest. They don't like the chill moments in Wind Breaker when instead it's these moments that allow watchers (or readers from manga) to understand the characters even better. They just want something mindblowing, intense actions, which obviously that's not where Wind Breaker is heading. I mean, yes, the story doesn't have a complex world-building type of shonen, it's rather simple indeed. Despite that, the story-telling is still intricate nonetheless. Sure it has its cliche moments we all know from typical shonens, but still it's a well-planned writing overall. As a manga reader that's finally caught up to the recent chapters, I can vouch it has excellent pacing & beautiful character developments. It's definitely the light-hearted, feel-good type of shonen that people can still relate in real life situations. ANNDDD I AGREE! Just like you, it keeps reminding me of Haikyuu whenever I read/watch WB.

I'm glad I open my heart to try watch this anime cuz usually I don't really interested in some gangster like anime story but wind breaker is so dopeee 👏👏🔥🔥a lot of line that always made me like this anime more, and I'm very grateful that you react to this awesome anime with your usual awesome breakdown 🥺🥺😁

oh there's definitely overlap between haikyuu fandom and wind breaker fandom, at least on twitter. both excellent with character development and wholesome found family feels! how can an anime about delinquents throwing hands be so wholesome? haha and yeah the manga is still ongoing, chapter 145 coming out next week. episode 10 just finished covering chapter 30 so we've still got ways to go

yess!! and tbh Umemiya's whole demeanor as a reliable senpai but still somewhat being an airhead sometimes reminded me of Bokuto so much. Everytime I watch him, the overlapping images of Bokuto & Kuroo antics keep popping up in my head 😂💖

Not the Nirei slander bro. I'm not gonna try to convince anime onlys to like Nirei, that time will come eventually. But fun fact: Nirei came 7th in the recent manga popularity poll, beating out Shugishita, Hiragi and Choji. Suo came 1st as he did in the first 2 polls. Sakura is 2nd, Umemiya is 4th and Togame is 5th.

To think that this is considered the weakest arc, you are not ready for the next arc which starts the highlight of Sakura's rapid development, dilemma, and relationship with his peers!! Second cour please 😢

@@y-tz6mi I just said weakest, because the next arcs keeps on improving, that's what I was trying to say, it's not bad of course it's good, it's just that windbreaker keeps on improving every arc.

And you know it's normal for every series that the first arc is the weakest, because it's just the introduction of what to expect.
