Today I propose to prepare a very tasty apricot pie.
You can make different variations of this pie. Instead of apricots, you can use plums, peaches, nectarines or apples.
Recipes for such a pie with plums and apples are already on my channel. I will leave links to them in the description under the video.
All products for the test should be at room temperature.
For the test we need:
110 g (3.88 oz) soft butter
150 g (5.29 oz) cane sugar
1 pinch salt (0.04 oz)
8 g (0.28 oz) vanilla sugar
7 g (0.25 oz) baking powder
2 large eggs
140 g (4.94 oz) flour
fruits (apricots) 300-400 g (10.58-14.11 oz)
We also need 2 teaspoons of a mixture of spices and sugar. To do this, mix in a jar:
5-6 teaspoons (0.88-1.06 ounces) cane sugar. You can use white sugar.
1-2 teaspoons (0.18-0.35 oz) cinnamon
0.5 teaspoons (0.09 oz) cardamom
We also need powdered sugar for sprinkling the finished cake.
22 cm (8.66 inch) baking dish. The form must be covered with baking paper.
Cooking method:
1. Wash the apricots, remove the pit and cut into quarters.
2. Take 2 teaspoons (0.35 ounces) of the spice mixture and coat the cut apricots. We leave it.
3. Using a mixer at low speed, mix the butter with cane sugar, a pinch of salt and vanilla sugar.
4. Add eggs one at a time. We continue to mix.
5. Add flour and baking powder. Mix.
6. Distribute the dough along the bottom of the mold.
7. Place apricot pieces, pressing them into the dough.
8. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C (356 °F) for 35-40 minutes.
9. Sprinkle the finished cooled pie with powdered sugar.
10. Can be served with a flavored latte, a scoop of vanilla (cream) ice cream or whipped cream.
