Aprilia RS-GP24 MotoGP testing at Mugello Circuit: Practice Start, Accelerations & V4 Engine Sound!

Back with some more MotoGP content from the recent two test sessions I attended before and after the 2024 Italian GP at Mugello Circuit. And it's all about the magnificent Aprilia RS-GP24.
The Italian brand returned to the world championship in 2015 unveiling the RS-GP, powered by a 1,000cc four-stroke 75° V4 engine. Over the years the bike has obviously been developed, introducing some interesting aero ideas and a new 90° V4 since 2020.
On those two occasions I mainly recorded Lorenzo Savadori, Aprilia Racing's test rider, in action for further development of the bike, but also the two factory riders, Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales, and Raúl Fernández who is currently riding for Aprilia's satellite team (Trackhouse Racing MotoGP Team) with a RS-GP23 but he had the chance to spend some time on a RS-GP24 bike during the test.

I really love the RS-GP's exhaust note. They make such a distinct sound compared to the other bikes. I do miss the Suzuki, it was a glorious sounding machine too.

ditikungan sangat stabil sekali rsgp ini, smooth sekali diliat tiap masuk dan keluar tikungan, beda sekali sama motor kompetitor, ducati aja gak bisa seanteng itu. tapi sisi negatifnya motornya menguras energi lebih, udah sering dikeluhin baik aleix dan vinales.

Can u explain the more energy thing? Is it like physically more demanding? ….i think next year they are going to be even better with Martin, the bike is superb through the corners and with a consistent rider aprilia can be in the mix,the bike is also good on tyres

@@rahulkadiyan332 yes, it is. in my eyes, rsgp strong point its like in fast corner and technical type of circuit. if they face long corner and long straight, they struggle a lot. you can see how the rear like glued to the road, its rarely up or even sliding in the braking point.
