Hello mr pochi, I have the same 140cc cylinder but it still needs that rave spacer plate. Can you please measure the spacer thickness, because I need to do that plate myself, but I don't know the measurements.

It is 1 mm to 1.5 mm. However, since the gasket is made by ourselves using a laser cutter, you must consider the thickness. You will need to measure the length of the gap between the piston and the blade yourself.

Hello, I have a Rotax DD2 engine on my go kart and I’m really thinking about installing the 140cc cylinder, my question is, do you recommend it, does it really give you more power than a standard 125cc cylinder, please share your experience with me, I would really appreciate it.

@@PochiRS ah nice I’ve recently been lucky to be buying one hopefully tomorrow and I am an amateur I’m 19 with knowledge but no experience like you and I’m trying to run it for street riding once a week for fun. Do you have any recommendation on what sort of exhaust I should get for street and upgrades to make it reliable and faster than stock. It is restricted at the moment to 15hp so I know I need a power valve of some sort and I need to drill cdi. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated and sorry I speak in English I am from UK

Hi, I have bought the 140cc cylinder and the reed valve and tested them on a Dyno, the results are no increase of power with the 140cc cylinder, the 125cc and the 140cc will both give you 31 hp. As fast as the reed valve, it will give you 2hp less than the stock. Total waste of money.

more or less how much power are you getting with the 140 compared to stock? i'm thinking of using it on a rotax kart engine, which is based on the aprilia unit. the rotax is very punchy in the mid range but is not very powerful from 11k rpm. does the 140 kit shift the powerband to different rpm?

Hi, I’m really thinking about buying the 140cc cylinder to install it on my Rotax DD2 engine but I would really like to know if it’s worth buying it, did you ever find out? I just don’t know anyone who has a 140cc cylinder so I’m unsure about buying the 140cc cylinder, I hope you do know (and yes the Rotax Max has more power from 5000rpm to 9500rpm than the DD2, the DD2 only has more power than the Rotax Max from 9500rpm to 12000rpm. When I bought my DD2 engine it came with an instruction manual, in there I found a graph that shows you the power of all Rotax engines in all the rpm range and both, the Rotax Max Senior and Junior have more power than the DD2 from about 5000rpm to 95000rpm, I thought I would share that with you.) I hope you can give me some information on the 140cc cylinder, thanks.

Kevin Quesad ese cilindro de 140cc lo he comprado yo y se lo he puesto a mi kart y al no haber ninguna diferencia en los tiempos por vuelta en el circuito, lo mande a probar en un banco de potencia y el resultado ha sido que el 140cc y el 125cc dan la misma potencia, 31cv, y el mismo par de motor 20. Así que es tirar dinero dado que no añade nada extra de potencia. También he probado en el banco de potencia la caja de láminas de 8 pétalos, y nos ha dado 2cv menos que la caja de láminas originales, un verdadero robo.
