Yes the interest I'd growing for the MILLE's although I don't see many of them out on the road... But they are a brilliant bike with great handling and easy to work on too

This is what i wanted to see . Loved your videos on the CW mille and now youve an SP to work on , fantastic. Cant believe how rough it is, the previous owners obviously dont know what bike this is. Love the superbike videos youve put in very entertaining. Cant wait for the next part

Thank you.... I don't know much about the original owner but I think they used to race the bike.. That's all I know but yes it is well used 😬...... I do also like the WSBK clips I do have full races but I get copyright strikes if I go over 30 to 40 seconds with them 😬

@8:41 YES!! 😅Thought the exact same thing, tried to be quick about it but the fuel line got stuck between the throttle bodies while trying to thread it through and made a huge mess before I was able to get it out. What a great idea!! @20:35, Ill be trying that as well on a set of stubborn wheel bearings. Can't wait for part 2, the weave on those side panels is gorgeous 👀

Yeh the fuel line is a pain I did syphon most of it out first.. But I think I will be fitting quick release lines to mine I had the same problem when I removed my tank 😁

I got a full decal kit for my Colin Edwards RSV from Image Works in UK.

I looked on their website but couldn't see the SP decals but Griff is going to send them the originals I think for them to copy 👍

Im sure you've watched Rcc restorations, he just lathers the paint stripper on the tank to bare metal, preps primer, base and lastly clear , and its normally two,three coats of each. Brilliant

Oh, I wouldn't put paint stripper on aluminium it can cause problems ... this rank is extremely rare to replace, so care had to be taken.. you don't really have to strip off the paint underneath as it will act as a key surface for the case coat to bond.. I lay down 4 coats of clear, usually to give the base some depth

I was never a fan of the shotgun exhaust,but I loved the bikes , never had a SP but I had two Rs and two Factory .

They don't seem to have the SP ones but I think griff is sending the original decals to them to be copied 🤔

im working on my own aprilia soon here, 2001 rsv mille and i would love to know where you get all yur parts and what not. i'm american though so it may be a bit different for me, not sure. your vids are gonna be a ton of help!

The discs have been spaced out, so those wheels can fit the Ohlins forks. These wheels are not off an SP

The wheels are correct I rebuilt them without the washers and everything went back together perfect the wheel was on the wrong way round by the previous owner that's why the washers where on

Wrong wheels mate, they are supposed to be OZ bleu

Hi Samuel they are blue on the Mille R but on the SP they are dark grey

Yep. The sp came with standard brembo wheels
