I am now 53 years old, live in Germany and whatched this for at leasr the 20th time. Why? 5 years ago because of it, I bought a new tuono 1100 factory, directly from the internet. Wired money, took a4h trainride and then sat on it for the first time. NEVER done that before. All my bikes and cars I pre-inspected, drove thouroughly BEFORE bying. Not this one. Because I have always been an engine guy. So now I have been on my tuono for 23k km on street and track. Have had great times. It sits in my garage. And here I am againg, watching. Why? Addiction to goosebumps😀

I'll tell ya, I believe the v4 aprilia in full system form is one of the greatest sounding motorcycles in history,..but in reference to your comment, I almost bought an Aprilia Tuono v4 1100 BECASUE of this video but went with the much less expensive '17 Yamaha MT10 with the cross plane i4 from the r1 and I'll tel ya, I decat the bike immediately and it's one of the greatest sounds or there. And much cheaper then the Aprilia but still a SuperNaked. I go back and fourth on which is the greatest sounding bike in history but every time I see this video seems obvious lol

+The Real Kurti The crossplane crankshaft of the R1 has the same uneven firing order as the V4 has. The R1 engine should be considered as a V4 more so than as an Inline as its engine operates in the same way :)

@@tkurban don't have it any longer, having a break from bikes. Depends on type of riding you do, I would personally go for rsv4 next time myself given the opportunity but the tuono is a really good bike and probably a bit better round town than the rsv4

@@tkurban Honestly I'd say it's all about what you're looking for in a bike. I daily my old RSV Mille and I came from a previous Aprilia naked bike. While yea the old Aprilia was more comfortable to ride in town, I have not looked back since I got the Mille and I never really miss the extra comfort. It's a joy to ride, and personally I don't find it straining on the wrists/arms as much as some people claim about other superbikes. Imo Aprilia has done great with the ergonomics of their performance bikes. I think if you enjoy owning and riding a superbike in general, and the comfort of a naked bike is just "nice to have", then you won't miss it if it isn't present on the RSV4. Tuono is probably the safe choice and will offer 85% of what you get in the RSV4, so it's up to you if the last 15% and its sleek looks are worth trading in for the increased comfort in city riding.

@@Real_MisterSir I actually went and got a super sport hahaha albeit its not the RSV4. I instead got an r1. Been having a blast with it and it is not as uncomfortable as I imagine it would. Although it did give me wrist pain and lower back pain in the first two or three days that I got the bike but after that its been good. I have been using it as my daily and in the future I am looking to enroll in yamaha track school and do track days.

Straight up WSBK! This was the video that made me start financing process for an RSV4 SBK , I fell in love with the v4 aprilia sound. Easily the greatest sound in superbike history! I do love the cross plane i4 from Yamaha , in full system it's not too far off of the aprilia v4. Never forget hearing Rossi and Lorenzo's CPC R1's for the first time in person motoGP , you can fee it in your chest when they'd scream by,..nothing more different than a standard i4 sound lol. I had an MT10 with the CPC i4 decated and the sound never ever got old to me: I burned thru more fuel Hammering it everywhere. Lol. Before buying that I nearly bought an Aprilia Tuono v4 1100 factory JUST because of THIS video as well when the SBK sold. This video is legendary! Z

No lap times talk, and the R1 and the RSV4 put down better laptimes with the Panigale right with them. The H2R is no comparison and the Honda is just silly, of course its an amazing bike but there is no point comparing it to bikes worth more than $100k less. Also the H2R and RC213 are both unable to registered as road bikes.
