I DESPERATELY need a home. I am going to have to figure it out myself. I don't have the $ to pay anyone and have no construction knowledge so I cannot express how much your vids are about to help me. No one thinks i can do this. That said I HAVE to. I have 3 very very very special reasons why I have to make it. I didnt survive being shot and an addiction to loose the only thing that matters to me ....nope. Momma has gotta get this going here. Im so excited i just got the land to build on but i have a VERY small budget. God willing this is going to change our lives forever. What you ladies are doing is AWESOME & from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU ❤❤❤

I am a woman and have done a lot of woodworking. Two tiny homes, sheds, and a teardrop camper, as examples, over the past 10 years or so. Today is the first time I've seen her video channel. Did not need to see her videos to start my venture into woodworking.

@@gwebocelestron9194 I'm not saying that"all women"would do that but there is a lot of women that are not in to woodworking that could be influenced by these ladies. I'm sorry if I have offended or upset you in any way. That was not my intention.

not too worried about being offensive, in the union carpentry trade the ladies don't last very long. Few years at best , then they move into the offices to shuffle papers or exit the union. It is very physical.

Just SO MUCH awesomeness. The dead shed will be compost in six months in Seattle, but better 86 it so you don't get termites. Square and Level! Modeling EVERY project is very important for strategizing, an even for later for reference. You guys KICK BUTT! Great pic of tools used. April, your narration is Exemplary. This build is SO much fun!

I personally have 2 chargers for my battery tools and often use them at the same time. I also have some solar panels that I just need to finish off so I don;t draw any electricity from them or my fridge inside my house. The more we do things like that the better our planet will be in the long run. Love your shows April and Anne! Great job in framing. Piece of advice: IF you are alone and doing the framing first build your walls then add your siding. The weight difference is huge. I used to do a lot of siding back in the day all by myself and I'd use a 2x2 or 2x4 and nail it along the edge of the outer floor joists so I could just lay the sheet of T-111 right on it and level it and nail it in from there. It holds the weight so you don't have to. Love ya girls! Great videos

Our 1466 sq ft tract home in California is post and beam construction, with outside perimeter foundation, but there are no joists. It's just 1 1/8'' tongue and groove plywood laid right on the beams. And the beams are 4 feet apart! Very bouncy.

You have a great talent. Great work, excellent sketch up and informational video.Try not lifting such heavy loads, you are going to wear yourself out before your time. It's all fun and games when you are young. Also if you put blocking between the floor joists it tightens up the floor structure. Good job on the floating foundation, small buildings do just fine this way.

Shanell Pearl something I've found from this and other trade skills type channels, you'll learn more from the comments than you do watching the vid.
