Hello. For anyone wondering about a later APS verification. I gave my documents on the 21st of October - My payment matched on the 31st. Yesterday, I received my APS certificates. So, 2 months from the day of deposit. What, however, is more important is the fact that from the 31st, wherein the process really started, it took about a little more than one and a half. Don't know about the waitlists yet.

@@nandi7772 With 70% you can get decent english program but not the best one, that too if your overall profile is strong. But if you can reach C1 level of German, definitely your options will increase, and much better chance of cracking top uni.

Payment confirmation is not related to document submission. You should send documents as soon as you fill the online application. Sometime they don’t event send payment confirmation.

Sometimes payment confirmation can take up to 20 days, specially if payment details were not filled in initial online application. Make sure your payment info you submitted was correct, and if you still don't get any update in another week, then please write an email or letter to APS, and even try calling in morning.

Current aps processing time has been around 50 days from the point of document submission. May student don't receive payment receipts, but directly get certificate email and then certificate after processing time.

Just go and submit them your photos as soon as possible proactively in an envelope, add a letter in it mentioning your application number and unique reference details, and that you missed adding photos so submitting them now. I hope they should accept it. If you live in Delhi or nearby then you can visit their center, else send via courier.

If you have mentioned all your payment info correctly in your application, then you should ideally receive payment confirmation soon. But if you don't get any till upto 2 weeks, then write them an email. Some students who have received APS certificate already, did not receive any payment info.

Personally send and applied aps doc on 4 oct got mail on 25 oct for verification completion still waiting to receive doc. No tracking I'd is given and they are not replying. As, Congratulations! The verification of your academic documents has been completed successfully. Your APS certificates will reach you within a week via courier. Please understand that no queries regarding the delivery status of the certificates will be entertained. Once you have received your certificates, please sign up for an appointment on the VFS website. During the registration you will be asked for your file number ("Prüfnummer"). Neither your submission number nor your token number will be accepted. Please enter the file number ("Prüfnummer") exactly the way it is mentioned on your certificate. Then it will be a bad situation to be stuck in. So everyone needs to keep their Unique number secured. You can ask for help from VFS, but they are very slow and poor at assisting usually.

Sorry about the delays you are facing. It's typical embassy trick, they released first lot of certificates on time so no one accuse them of delaying "new APS process". Students from 6th or 7th Oct are still awaiting for APS from more then a month now. Unfortunetly all you can do is wait, and may be write complains to embassy and how they should make process much stress free for students, you can even write to ministry of external affairs over twitter and even tag german embassy.

hi, well they won't update the payment section on the website. Instead, they will send you a mail of payment confirmation. In my case it took them 9 days to send a payment confirmation. For courier, you need to check with the courier company. APS won't send any mail regarding receiving your parcel.

Hi Rajat, do you need language proficiency certificate for APS? Is it mandatory?

Language certificate is not mandatory for APS if you don't need it for Visa. So it depends on Visa scenario, and weather you need it for Visa or not is something only embassy can tell for sure. So I will suggest you to write an email to Embassy or even try calling. Kolkata consulate usually replies more consistently then Delhi, so you may write email to them as well.

Don't worry, no one who submitted application around 12th Oct, have received APS certificate yet. Whenever APS release certificate of these lots you should get the email of dispatch of certificate.

Hi ! I'm currently in my 7th semester of bachelor's and I'm aiming for winter intake on 2023. I don't have my provisional degree certificate yet. I will not be receiving it till June 2023. I want to finish my APS certificate formalities. What am i supposed to do? APS haven't responded to my query. Assuming I apply for APS certificate as soon as I get my PDC in June 2023, it will take month. How do I book visa slots in July 2023 if there's no availability?

before all these you need admission letter and all other formalities to complete. APS is just one of them. Give your ielts and learn german atleast upto B1

@@parthpanchal9184 parth just think without provisional degree how can you get admission. And for aps all semester marksheet + degree compulsory. you can check the list of required documents on APS website. If you are in 7th sem contact your college or univ to give you PDC. Then only you can apply for winter intake 2023 otherwise not. And if your college not able to provide PDC by March then no meaning of that. winter intake application deadline is mid-june in most of the universities.

For Chennai the waitlist time can be a couple of weeks, then the slot you will get can be of 30-45 days in the future. And then if they will submit your passport along with documents then you can expect 45-50 days of processing time for Visa processing and stamping. And if they don't deposit passport on Visa appointment date, but ask for it later after Visa email, then may be add another 9-10 days for stamping.

APS claimed around 30 days of processing time, but 45 days is average processing time from the date your documents reached them. But due to Christmas break, some extra delay can be expected.

Language proficiency in English should be B2 equivalent. I think 5.5 or 6 band of IELTS is considered as B2 level. I think 6 should be acceptable to Embassy for Visa, and for Uni it depends on Uni's specific requirements.

Hi bro , I sent my documents via courier . It must have reached them on Nov 4. However after a week I realised that I did not submit my consent form and did not give my professor mail id in application. So I couriered it along with all the other document photocopies. It must have reached them on Nov 11.I sent an email regarding the same. But I have not yet received any document received mail , payment confirmation mail or reply to those query mails I have sent. TestAS is needed if you want to do Bachelors in Germany, and get a Visa for it from India. If you just aim to do language course, then it is not needed, if you want to continue further post language to studienkolleg and bachelors then you may have to give TestAS or any equivalent qualifying exam.

Hi, I recently applied for VPD, & the APS certificate was not required. VPD is only your Indian Grade converted to German Grade, but whenever you apply for VPD make sure to go through the uni-assist website for the documents they require, they might update it if they require the APS.

For what? Visa or admission? For admission, it depends on Uni to Uni. For Visa situation depends on if you have done 12th as well or not, and are you applying for bachelors or masters.

Is this for Summer sem or winter 2023? If for winter 2023, then better get TOEFL first then apply for APS. Ask embassy via email, "If TOEFL is not part of APS, can it be submitted separated?", that should give you accurate info.
