I would honestly leave the walls empty. As an interior designer, it's nice to leave some walls empty and plain to give the human eye a break. Since you have a smaller apartment, if you hang up to many things and fill all your walls, it can get really busy and cluttered.

I agree with leaving that tall wall empty - it's a good divider between the two spaces. LOVE the re-do. The living room looks so much better and less cramped and that reading nook is everything! And again, we know you are authentic because you really DO read! haha! Glad you're back! :)

I freaking loved how your apartment turned out but I honestly would like to put a smaller couch in the living area or as i can see that your original couch divides into two so i guess you can place one part in the living area and about the other part on which you can put your legs on, you can put it where your reading nook is! Btw its just a suggestion otherwise I totally LOVED your apartment!! ❤️
