To my thinking it represents the plodding forward, relentless pushing the vehicle into production, and making it happen. Without a dedicated team, and Steve and Chris pushing it, add a community of several thousand people who have skin in the game by investing $$$. It's been a hard long journey, years of experience is finally coming together, and the concept is going to prove itself very soon.

100% production parts? Doubt it. 1 External reservoirs rear damper along with adjustable perch. 2. Front dampers that have adjustable perches on them. These are from KW and aftermarket, not OEM. 3. E- Stop with a lockout key. 4. Toggle switches. 5. Lots of zip ties 6. Master power switch in the engine compartment. 7. Steering wheel 8. The machined frame 9. The machined uprights Instead it might be better to say this. Here's a early stage prototype that is representative of what we might get. In the reality, it was to show it can move under it's own power. That's it. The parts they are using (which I mentioned) are not what they will use, thus not 100% production. I'd give it 30% production at the best. I understand the excitement but let's just look at what is presented and accept it for that. Not embellish it to make it bigger than what it is.

True the interior isn't the focus of PI 2. Some safety features for this PI 2 in terms of a master power switch for emergency power cut off if needed during validation. Machine parts are spec to the final part that would be high volume.

They are still heavily reliant on the $60million raise otherwise they will hit a wall......waiting for the US Capital Update.

The PI 1 also is not supposed to be near representation of a complete PI. It's just a simulator for rn.

but that's not going to come till sometime next year sadly, anticipate more and more delays and slow progress, tesla model 3 is likely it's biggest competitor in the $30k price range.
