At a desk setup? I like the 100ds better but I do like how compact the 60d s is. That 1/4 20 mount is a blessing and a curse.

Yeah, with the sl60d ii you aren't going to get the Sidus Link App and pairing. Once you get into a nicer brand's lights you will be happy with being in that full lighting ecosystem.

Does this work with the Aputure light dome 3? I'll be 5 feet away with a guitar and hope that's ok too. I'm new to this so I'd appreciate your help. Thanks for the videos

Are you going for the moody look? Otherwise I really like the lantern a lot. Feel free to write back and we can chat about this.

@@adamtalkstech Thanks for responding. I saw a video where this guy was surprised the 100d S could handle a larger soft box than the SE but I'm after the light dome 3, which is the same size as the SE b/c I had no luck setting it up, but number 3 has a quick folding open/close feature. Which soft box do you otherwise prefer?? And I take it that the dome light 3 which is obviously newer than the chart, does indeed fit?

@@jamesprada1200 I mean I feel like it could go with the Light Dome 3, they just don't officially "support it" on their site. I really like the glow EZ soft boxes and I'm also experimenting with an ifootage soft box that uses a different mechanism to set up than what I've ever used before. My main modifier is currently the Glow Lantern. Just keep in mind too that if you get a big soft box you have to have space for it. i have weird ceilings in my studio that make certain modifiers challenging to use. I"ll drop a few links in the next comment for you.
