Why do you not recommend the light dome?

I just saw this. Light dome is super huge and heavy. The plastic mount will crack over time. The 120D was a heavy metal mount. These lights here seems to be all plastic.

Hi, I've heard other KZbinrs complain about how hard it is to fit the 60d back into the box. What are your experiences with both lights to get them back into their boxes?

It is a tight fit. The part that gets me is the noise. I shiver every time but it will fit and its portable.

I’m looking to get the 60d to start making films. After having it for so long how do you feel about the fan noise? I love amaran, but I I’m worried about fan noise being too audible in my films.

Depends on how close your mic is. Also in davinci, there is a voice isolation that works very well. It can remove back ground noise. If you are still worried, get the 100D. my entire channel is still running on 2 100D.

The Amaran 60d seems a better size for travel. But are you really concerned about leaving it on for more than 1hr? That is concerning.

Woah. 35 inch? You are pushing it. I would say no but you can prove me wrong. I was told there is a ton of plastic components and in the long run it may slowly crack.

@@erum.m It will fit no problem. Long term use, you will be the tester. In my opinion, not recommended but its your turn to prove me wrong and help the community here with your long term experience. Its a plastic mount.

This may be your option when your running and gunning. I recently light a house about 15 meters away. Worked crazy good. Just make sure you check the system after 1 hour. Mines got very warm and its winter time now. Maybe summer might be different story.

You lit a house 15 meters away!!! 😮😮😮🤯 I thought it hasn't such an out put. You could du a video. There aren't videos out there with real life examples... @@theCameraVille I really liked your white studio setup in this video. The white background has a bright spot halo behind where you sit as a result of the two 28inch soft boxes you use. I noticed you have a vertical led light direct behind you (between your back and the wall). What exactly is the purpose of that light? Is it lighting up the wall to give the bright Hall effect around you? Is it lighting the wall or your back? What brand light is that?

@@djc24 amzn.to/36joIal I have a method to my own madness. I'm still figuring things out. The back light is to keep the scene interesting/diffuse when I move left and right. The light basically is softening up my scene when it appears. I have a pro black mist filter on my lens so once light touches it, my set looks diffuse. I am erasing off all the sharp digital look and keeping the scene interesting.

100D. However if you are running and gunning a lot, I usually take the 60D because its light and compact. I light an entire scene on a roof with just the 60D and it was very useful while a 100D would require a ton of attachments.
