Having someone you know and worked with, especially someone yonng with a bright future ahead of them, get stabbed to death like that... i think you guys forgot that the director has worked with ai and aqua fourteen years ago, and was at the funeral too, thats why it makes sense that ai's death also haunts him but also not to the same level as aqua who not only witnessed the murder but was with ai's body until the paramedics arrived. even to an extent ruby's trauma of the murder isnt the same because she was on the other side of the door when the murder took place she did hear ai's dying words.

@_knshoujo im the manga the police went out of their way to not let ruby see the crime scene so only aqua saw everything ruby just knows her mom was murdered but never saw it aqua witnessed everything

You know What’s crazy guys is that we’re 4 episodes in and I don’t really see a lot of people talking about the season at all, granted I’ve only seen posts get 10s of Thousands of views on Twitter, but that’s about it. I’ve been wondering if A lot of people have been talking about it on OTHER platforms though. Now I’m gonna be completely honest, I’m not really the Biggest fan of Aqua in general, but I can still relate to the guy getting PTSD to some degree. I mean Hell, I still get flashbacks every now and then of me being in the Hospital for a WEEK getting ready to have surgery for the first time in order to remove my Appendix last year for New Years. And I still have the Scars from the surgery to this day!!!

I think it’s because the first episode of season 1 was so shocking that it made series more popular, as well as the opening. Not saying this season is bad I actually really like it, but I guess the hype has died down over the year.

It is because the fake spoiler in the manga about Aqua and Ruby make people who don't watch it hated it and did not want to watch the show, and most has already read the manga. ONK is definitely the best show of this season, moreover this is also the best arc of ONK. This season is PEAK.

Compared to how the show started off, what is happening now just isn't very exciting. It's still a good story, but putting a play together isn't that shocking compared to an idol working her way to the top of her field and getting killed in front of her 2 kids. And online discussion is ruled by what is exciting at the moment.

Guys Akane's intellect is what makes mostly the plot move in a big part of the manga. I will even argue that she's smarter than Aqua . In the manga it was mentionned that Aqua ( who was previously a doctor) and akane went trough the same test for a school i think and Aqua scored 70 and Akane 78

To be precise, the test you mentioned is somewhat like how GPA works, Aqua was at around 70, which convert to around GPA 4.2, Akane was at 78, which is GPA 4.4

The stars in Akane's eyes don't 100% mean she's acting like Ai. As we know, Ruby and Aqua also have one in their eyes. The star implies their talent, and it's not something that is limited to Ai. For Akane, her talent is basically being highly deductive and piecing everything together, something that helps her understand her acting roles. We even saw it, in episode one, when she was trying to get into the character of Princess Saya. This time, when she was talking to Aqua, she didn't change her voice tone to Ai's cheerful or joking tone, but kept her soft and shy style, implying that she was still herself. But with a lot of new information about Aqua and his situation.

In English it's vague as to whether he meant "make it" as in attending the gathering or to get the script done in time. In Japanese it's explicit - Aqua asks if Abiko "won't be able to come".

After watching these episodes, man does it put things into perspective for how unrealistic it's been that Oda has somehow managed to produce One Piece for like 30 years, weekly with very very minimal breaks. Even the whole "to do that u have to think about manga even on ur vacation" Which Oda has literally confirmed he does, he gets inspiration from visiting places, everything in his life is about his work. That level of dedication for 30 years, CONSISTENTLY, is unrealistic. This is why Oda is the greatest manga author of all time. Not just because of how good OP is, but his dedication and ability to do this for so long without mental burnout, or physically diminishing like Miura( rip the goat, the level of detail in Berserk makes it feel like an anime when u read it ) , or Togashi, or many others.

"the movie we talk about is scheduled. i have to apologize to the director" ai said this before she passed. gotanda was making a movie for ai. requested by ai herself. but it has to be cancelled now that ai's gone. aqua and ruby will go on and continue the production of the movie as the final step of their "revenge"
