Ted has to be the bedrock of your channel. I love what you do. But I bet people watch just for Ted, I have some pics from my Dad who did his National Service with the REME in the Malayam Emergency. Some of him in front of a Scammel Heavy recovery and some of the Governer Geneal's car being recovered after he was assasinated by the Communist rebels in the highlands using said Scammel.

I spent 20 years in the US Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal and all of our EOD vehicles had red fenders. Whenever I see your Foden with the red fenders, my heart beats a little faster. It's undoubtedly nothing, but it warms old gray cockles of my 84 year old heart. Cheers Really enjoy your antics and your work.

I did sandblasting, during my summer jobs whilst in university, working on elevated highway bridge decks, wherein the winter road salt seeped into the cracks in the poured concrete nesting around the rebar, reacting w/said rebar’s and accelerating the failure of the bridge deck. We had tractor trailer based sandblast units, huge ingersol-Rand diesel compressor, mounted sandbin and the “space suit” ventilated hoods and respiratory support…

Just paint in urban como it will look even better and some one asked do you need a hgv license to go on the road and i like the Reme badge on the recovery hgv no mot no road tax and i think there limited to 30mph?

Loved seeing the Massey Ferguson come in to save the day for the AquaBlaster. My old man has a 1964 M-F 2135 with loader, still runs like a beast. I would like nothing better than to do a full restoration on it.

Well, I think that Foden should be lowered, tint the glass, a spoiler at the back and green metallic paint, with gold pinstripes. It would really stand out at a Military show!

Paint, whole thing, metallic Midnight Blue. Chrome rims, storage doors and boom arm. Replace all lever knobs with Ivory.

@Mr Hewes it's well worth getting the inhibitor additive to put in the water you use for blasting or washing down after blasting just run it through the pressure washer too, makes a huge difference

I had a near miss with failing U/Js in a Mercruiser outdrive last year because I'm paranoid about any hint of knocking with flexible drives. I was still shocked at how bad they got in a very short space of time. You were extremely lucky that failure didn't rip the guts out of the tractor! Were they sealed for life or greasable? BTW sealed for life must be the biggest lie in engineering!

If you are pimping the Foden, take the opportunity to pimping the associated accessories such as a set of hollow bones ? Assuming the back goes black like the cab, you could go mad an paint selected details in a contrasting colour. Post office red maybe. Or even hot pink.
