That would actually be the safest colour for hanging out along side traffic for recovery. Great suggestion. My original thought was black but that would be a huge liability if someone hit it or a person didn’t notice it coming at them. Bright multicoloured flashing LED’s would be an idea too.

one thing i regarding speeded up film, is having the sound, listening to Joe grunt at high speed, soooo funny, some slightly odd and perhaps suspicious noises going on, maybe some add lib speeded back in the day, when i were a lad and helping ready vehicles for the off, to former Yugoslavic, well Bosnia i particular, we had a toy parrot which copies everything you say and obviously says it back in parrot, but if you mimic him in parrot, it gets rather silly, must of had us laughing so much our throats hurt, crying for hours, rolling round on the workshop floor in hysterics, if anyone had walked in that afternoon they might have thought we were on something and called an ambulance - if ever you have to get something funny like the parrot, make sure you have someone with the most infectious laugh (not Jack, that won't work) my best mate was priceless

Love this channel… love every video. It’s true I’m addicted. It always astonishes me how easy you make the hardest jobs look. Can I make a request? 🤞🏻 Would you consider doing an introductory video? Letting everyone know your own backgrounds and how you learnt your individual skill sets? What you all do, came from and that way we’d all understand a bit more about you all as a team. I also watch Combat Dealers (yes they’re all dicks) but to see the panther built and drive was great. However you guys are more down to earth and a 100 times more watchable. But we know very little about you via the channel. Keep up the great work, loving it! (Mac Donald’s style!)😬

Brilliant. But I’d love to know more about the guys I watch and understand more about your backgrounds. Again keep up the great work. I only do the national lottery now in the hope I can contact you with a project. Was sad to see the chieftain go to the US. That should have been mine! I grew up in Crossgates Leeds where Barnbow made the chieftain in the 70’s. Whenever we heard them undergoing testing all the kids would rush to the outer fence to see them. Amazing noise… amazing tank. Although watching out videos and seeing the dared technology in todays terms. God knows how you got that tech working and the turret turning. You like to challenge yourself that’s for sure!

I’ve been operating 6 & 8 wheel hiab beavertail lorries for nearly 20 years and know that you will find this invaluable. They really are a Swiss Army knife, whilst it may not have the ability of the mighty Foden it’s a vehicle you can drive for several hours in relative comfort. As well as just about every bit of construction plant I’ve carried CVRT’s, an M4, Ferrets, and even a Mig 25 fuselage on them. You’ll wonder how you managed without it.

Nice. Lovin’ the Scandi-Foden. Looks pretty tidy for ~25y. Interesting to see the drum swap. Reckon there’s enough instructional content here for an average Jo or Joe to do the same. Doesn’t seem a hard job. Great, feature-packed lorry. Would have been good to the supports / legs or whatever and with a new cable etc I think it’ll be a fab addition. Maybe you need to fit a 20’ porta-cabin or camping container for an apocalypse-rig / command station setup. Colour-wise, I don’t mind the silver and it seems tidy, but well ‘Scandi-noir’ would get my vote. Can’t wait for more content on this. Cheers!!

You dont "sleep" in a day cab since the seat tops are close enough to the back wall to be able to touch you would be lucky to get a bag behind the seats, YOUR vehicle is either a rest plus cab with about an eighteen inch gap or more likely a single bunk sleeper, thats two foot six wide, because if memory serves they sold so few day cabs - and then only on fleet order artics and the odd rigid mainly for tippers to fleet buyers like Tesco's or Safeways ask me how I know ? - I once had a late model new cab 93 for nearly six years tramping five nights a week up and down Britain the memories came rushing back when I saw my old dash again for the first time in over twenty years. whatever colour you choose to abuse the rest of the wagon with I would paint that HIAB a bright cat yellow with the dipper arm in black and yellow six inch diagonal bands it would look like it meant dont eff with ME business

Did a few years working on Scanias (Master tech) and they really are a well built solid old truck. The heavy steel bracketry would make 'Bad Obsessive Motorsport' weep for joy! But that definitely needs a DSC14 V8 .... 'Proper Job!' If that tag axle is a hydraulic ram one it will gradually sink as you drive along. The ram seals are sh ... Keep the tag lifting cantilevers well greased and do get the brake backplates on before winter. Colours? Well whatever the Fodens are cabwise and the HIAB needs to be a really garish yellow. 🤢

Why is midnight blue my favorite colour? It fit my personality perfectly. Did you know that there are many different shades of it? In the event you're interested in how many there are, all you need to do is put the word midnight blue in that browser of whatever device you have over there in England.
