I used to have one of those pistols! Omega 22 short revolver. It was my first gun! Got it for $15 in 1986. If I was lucky it would fire every other round but I absolutely loved it!

Rohm, RG, Omega. They’re all basically the same. I’d hate to have to depend on any of them but it started a lifelong passion for me.

@@Wildhare-uo5vj same buddy rg was my first gun and it was terrible lol but I still love old junk guns 25's and 22's are my favorite! Of course I have good guns but I love the old throwaways! Definitely need to make sure there safe before you shoot them though!
@Wildhare-uo5vj5 жыл бұрын
Yep. I love old guns. I have a Winchester 1897 takedown made in 1900 that I still shoot hand loads out of. I also have a engraved S&W 32 double action, 4th Model with pearl grips that’s lettered by S&W as leaving the factory on February 5th 1883. I don’t think it’s ever been fired.

You've got my ears so well-tuned for any potential "dieded" warnings that each time you've mentioned the shell fragment, I've heard "dieder," which would naturally have potentially "dieded" anyone in close range... 😆😆😆 I can't help it! You teach me awesome stuff all the time, for real, but you also have my family's wonderfully, umm, ec2centrically sarcastic and amusing sense of hum1or, including your fantastically active facial expressions and all you can convey with only a quick look... which clicks even more with me... And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!! Seriously, I hope and pray that you never lose the spark that is YOU, through and through! I'm not sure if you've seen my other message (my thank you message), but I just want you to know that you've made A HUGELY POSITIVE EFFECT IN MY LIFE & I CANNOT EVER THANK YOU ENOUGH!!! You are an amazing person and your wife and family and friends are lucky to have you!!! Before I start crying, I just NEED to say it one more time: Thank you, Beau, for everything you helped me through by providing SERIOUSLY AMAZING CONTENT with a heart of gold!!! 🤗💜💜💜😊

Man that field was hard on farm equipment Chigg. We had a couple of fields like that back on the farm. It kept my dad and I busy welding stuff and repairing sickle teeth. It was no fun hammering out the old rivets and teeth and hammering in the new. Rocks and the hauling of them was also one of my least favorite chores. We used to drag cow magnets behind us through the fields sometimes to try and pick up old metal junk from the equipment that the farmer didn't want left behind. It was some fun the strange pieces of junk we found, nuts, bolts, baling wire, and lots of that old barbed wire for sure. It could do a number on cows as well as the equipment. This was a fun get together and hunt, glad you could get out and do it. The gun was the kind you were as likely to shoot yourself in the foot as anything. I wanted one as a kid for varmint shooting, but my dad thought it too dangerous. He gave me a sixteen gauge pump action shotgun instead, when I was thirteen. I had been shooting since I was nine and that gun was something of a matter of pride for me. My very first gun. I kept it in spotless condition for years, until it was stolen in the 1990's. I still miss that old thing.

Like others said, pretty sure thats a Rohm/RG 22 revolver, probably a model 14. Imported in the 60s and 70s. SUPER cheap; price and quality. Cast metal frame and internals (im not kidding about that btw). Can still find them in pawnshops for like 50 bucks. But by all means still a real gun. Hinckley used what appears to be the exact same gun in the assassination attempt on Reagan, the one that permanently disabled James Brady. Creepy.

@@Micaelangel07 I meant Dependable; in that one squeeze of the trigger would discharge a round. Of course that 10# pull would interfere with your aim.
