Great review, answers every question about the park, both practical and the slides, in about 10 minutes! I was at the website of Miramar - apparently they had suffered a fire and are closed this spring.

Just wish I’d have known about this place before Christmas so could pack swimming stuff (currently in Austria, bit off to Phabtasialand on Thursday) such is life.

yeah i visited after phantasialand, nice and quiet that (at aqualand, not phantasia sadly). Enjoy your time!!!

I have been to Aqualand 4 times and always had a great time. Sometimes it is very crowded, especially at Aquaconda the waiting times can reach up to 15 minutes. Also space typhoon fills up quickly but it is not a problem for the experience for me. I can clearly recommend the water park and find it better than the Aquamagis at Plettenberg. Finally: The wellness area is also highly recommended, especially if you want to spend the whole day there

Note: the place is called Köln, not Koln. If you cannot type ö, substitute oe (so Koeln). The same applies to ä, ü, ß which become ae, ue, and ss.

The Most slides just work with Sensors. Only the looping slide has Cameras installed. There is a sensor at the start and one at the end, but Not the very end so people are still in the slide but they nearly reiches the end.

And with a good slide technique you can pick up a lot of speed in the red star slide and the slide makes much more fun. Normally it also has an LED screen the first curve but it seems like it’s broken

I tried pushing off on Red Star later and still didn't get much speed. Maybe I was just unlucky.

What settings do you use on your Go Pro for recording in the dark/at night? Most of these dark slides turned out great all things considered, so I was just curious.

I had to boost the shadows/light afterwards in DaVinci Resolve. I used the default 4K settings on the device.

I wasn't sick. The audio may have sounded different since I was recording late at night and didn't want to disturb anyone.
