Great livestream Cory! I'm loving how the background is looking. The pothos is looking great. I love watching these live streams during my lunch break. They are such a great pick-me-up in the middle of the day. They make me want to go home and play in my tank!

I'm sorry I missed this. I really have a strong preference for Coop lights. I appreciate the durability, but my favorite part is the afternoon sunlight color. I am not aware of data to back this opinion up, but I suspect the color of Coop lights would prove better for the welfare of many aquatic animals. I know many humans express an aversion to blue-tinged lighting. It seems logical that would extend to other animals as well. I like my Kasa, but a built-in timer on the next version that preserves the ramp up/ramp down would be amazing!

Catching this stream late, funny you mention 911 call centers and your chair. I’m actually a 911 dispatcher and the 24 hour chairs in our center cost about 8500 dollars a piece.

It would be difficult to create an amazing aquarium heater. I love my aquarium o-Op heaters, even one failed. They were still better than other heaters on the market.😢

Great tip for the off timer. I use the Leviton timers and sometimes the kids want to see the aquariums in their rooms after they've turned off.

My next light will be a coop light. I own everything from Kessil and Twinstars to cheap Amazon strip lights. I like lights.

In my testing, I've tried without, Airstones keeps things from going rancid. They are magic. Always use one. Simple.

Agree with you on the no filters to a degree. Perfer no filter for very small fry/fish due to tanks being able to maintain more microorganisms without them being added. Thier also very good for snails that can breath air they seem to breed more and higher survival rates once tanks cycled. Otherwise, it's better to have a sponge filter imo both for air and extra insurance just in case something goes wrong.

Had the problem with my Old T 8’s on my Old tank(Got led now) Alm floating plants would wither(it was not melt) they became dry and just dissapered. The only plants submerged that would grow was anubias and crypts. All other stuff just melted. It produced a hell of a lot of heat. Didnt even need a heater

I dont have the previlage to use coop products being in India. However I make it a point to get easy green/repashy/xtreme whenever friends/relative come over. A huge difference to my aquarium is from flow/simple led lights but having 1w/gal and off couyessy green.

28:55 yeah, youtubers: "You can't make a video about Aquarium Lights! Someone else already did that 10 years ago!" Silly thought process.

I would like it if the lights could plug into each other so my fish room didn’t need an outlet for every light.

I found some cool pieces of Cork Bark but I am not sure if I should keep them fully submerged in one of my Aquariums with fish. I know it is mostly used in reptile enclosures. What advice can I get on the longevity of submerged cork bark???
@AquariumCoop5 ай бұрын
Cork bark lasted at least 5 years in one of my turtle setups as a ramp.

Hey How can I wash BBS without using a net I mean can I use a Silk cloth or something then suck the brine shrimps with an syringe so the BBS gather towards the light so it could be easy
@agnediciuniene98612 ай бұрын
I feed small amounts for small fry. I use tea bags. I cut the top off, pour the tea leaves out and use whats left for filtering brine shrimp. I use small flashlight one side. Suck them up with a syringe and filter through that empty tea bag. The water goes back to the comtainer. I rinse the tea bag out in the aquarium to feed fry.

I need algae, but my floating plants block the light, so... Red for plants, Blue for algae and leave lights on as long as possible. Actually I need to watch the whole video.
