Aquascape Tutorial: BLUE DREAM SHRIMP Nano Cube (How To: Planted Aquarium Step By Step Setup)
I've been meaning to do this for a while and finally got around to it. I think the blue dream shrimp look great in this nano tank. Very simple design that looks good but is easily manageable and allows me to see the shrimp easy. Plus I think the white gravel really shows of the blue shrimp so much better!

You can also get a nerite snail, they only breed in brackish water.

"Don't worry about snails in your tank!" I've been deliberately breeding and growing out Trumpet snails because they're actually difficult to ship in from out of the city. I had just a few survivors from a handful of attempts, and they're finally starting to breed. I'm not giving them up. If nothing else, these little guys will be my go-to for the sheer reward of seeing them make it to adulthood.

My favorite thing about planted tanks is once you have some plants, you can just keep propagating and growing your own rather than having to buy tons more. My budget enjoys that a lot. 😄

Loving the tanks you set up. Been watching it since it come on KZbin. You have made me really want to get back in this hobby. I had marine tank for 6 yrs loved it. But break up caused me to break down the tank. So not had one in last 10 yrs. But I'm on verge of getting my new house and I feel a 2ft or 3 ft set up tropical set up coming. Totally agree - I LOVE snails. Ramshorns are very industrious and truly don't have population explosions unless there's too much food in the tank. They're great. :-)

I know in washington state where I am milfoil is on the quarantine list and considered a noxiousweed; its prohibited to buy/sell/distribute. So I've only seen it in lakes and ponds here, never for sale in aquarium use personally round me due to that. It looks lovely in an aquarium! They definitely chokeout lakes here fast lol so no doubt on its need for upkeep. Love watching your videos!! Thanks for always sharing :)

Very nice ... I have frogbit in my shrimp tank, and the babies seem to love it, they all hang out in the long roots. Especially after adding Bacter AE, it clings to the root "hairs".

You should really experiment with Indian almond leaves some call them katappa but anyway shrimp just love them and they create a really natural look if you boil them it takes away the tannins but as I don’t think you’ve done one before maybe you should do a slightly tannined aquarium with maybe black neons ? I think it would be unique and great

You need some shallow backing trays so you don't wreck your wood floor, i use em all the time, you can Cary your trimmed plants from place to place without getting water everywhere plus it sorta looks medical lol anyway bro nice channel, just thought I'd make a suggestion, 👍🏻🇦🇺🦐

I brought a fish tank off a friend of mine who had snails in it when he was using it. It was dry for over 2 years and I set it up like a new tank. Within a month it was black with trumpet snails! They are a pain!

Since you did the mini fish in a few of these can I suggest one? I’m not sure how much space they need but I have some gorgeous red honey gourami that are so kind-like non territorial or maybe sword tail/guppys/mollys/platys just for reasons that I don’t know. These are just suggestions

The milfoil is invasive here in the SE USA. People dump aquariums into lakes and rivers and it takes root. Great in an enclosed environment, a problem when introduced in the wild.

You can also just disconnect one of your sponges and squeeze it into your new nano tank without buying, stuff you don't really have to

You know now that I think of it, I've been watching your videos for almost a year, and only now I wonder, why does my thinner layer of coarse sand smell bad and gets dirty, but all your sand always looks pristine, and you never seem to complain about it smelling, especially for shrimp and betta tank where its lower flow. I can leave a tank unfed for a whole week and it still has that low oxygen stink.
