Ok so I have watched this video frame by frame at least four times. I got this thought in my head that I want to bind a table topper I made with fabrics from my SY scrap bundle. Problem is I scalloped the edges and I am working with smaller pieces so it has to be bias binding. I am happy to say I got it! The binding is too cute! Now on to figuring out how to bind a scalloped edge.

I was so pleased to find your video! My friend is a hair stylist and due to the virus supplies are hard to come by. She needed an apron to use when applying hair color. I could have used this video to help with the binding. I used a plastic table cloth for an apron and put binding around the edges. I subscribed to your channel because I think I will learn a lot of new things. Thank you.

I found this video to be very helpful as I have just dipped my toe into the making and applying of bias binding to curves. I made my first pot holder and things went well until I sewed the binding to the pot holder. When I went around the curves I had lots of pleats and puckers. I was wondering if you could take this video a few steps further and show us how to sew the binding onto the pot holder. Also, how do you finish the two ends of the binding when you join the tails???? Thanks so much for all of your helpful videos!!

I love bias binding! Hugely helpful video, but I’m about to work with flannel and minky for the first time. 😱 Do you avoid using either of those as binding? I hear flannel is really stretchy especially when cut on bias. Thanks!
