i recently built my first budget PSA AR pistol coupled with a red dot and magnifier and am loving everything about it so far. my brother who's overseas also helped contribute towards it so i can relate. its awesome having ppl who support your hobbies and or lifestyle.

Had been thinking about getting an AR15 for months and kept going back and forth. Was going to get a Saint Victor but after doing tons of research decided to go with PSA. More than half the price and extremely reliable! Just received my 8.5inch barrel w/10.5inch hand guard today, just waiting for the lower to get here!

7 and 1/2-in barrel. Is a toy. All be it😢 a fun toy. I wouldn't trust my life to it and the ballistics you are sacrificing aren't worth it. 10 and a half or better

Love the review. If you're using nods something to think about is practicing reloads and malfunction drills inside your workspace at night. Having a glow in the dark select fire is an IR light source others can see that you cannot shut off actively while fighting. Your select fire should be practiced so often on and off that you never need a visual indicator in the dark for where it is. A different upgrade is an Ambi safety so you can activate from either side of the firearm. My beef with this upper (I own it too) is the rail is terribly thought out for adding lights/lasers or a sling. The sling QD point doesn't work with magpul QDs as the heavy barrel blocks full insertion (LOL thats what she said). I ended up putting a surefire vampire IR light and a Holosun LE117 IR Laser with a unity taps sync to activate them both under nods. However, its still kinky as hell and will not reliably cycle subs with a suppressor onboard. I'm playing with a lighter buffer tube and spring to tune.

My 7.5 inch PSA kit was ejecting at like the 1 o'clock position. I added a ergo adjustable gas block now it shoots way smoother.

I think I need an adjustable gas block myself.. mines has been working fine me with a H2 buffer and normal length buffer lol

If it fires everytime I wouldnt worry about the ejection pattern. But if you want to get anal about it 1:00 is over gased and that's a good thing meaning that it is more reliable to shoot dirty and cold. I'm no expert I built my pistol for home defense so I dont care where the brass lands as long as it fires everytime.

@@SwiggOfSauce NO, NO adjustable gas block. JP Enterprise carbine buffer spring. Get yourself a scale to weigh the buffer ($15.00). It’s probably 3 oz max and needs to be 6.5 oz minimum for a 7.5 barrel. The last 7.5 build I did was up to 7.6 oz buffer before it would eject at the 3 - 3:30 sweet spot. Buy the buffer weight kits to change your buffer weights, just knock out the pin then mix and match weights until you get the desired ejection (3 - 3:30) Each gun will take a different buffer weight to get desired results. Thanks. It’s awesome.

I got a Springfield Saint Victor 7.5" pistol. I like your set up... on mine I have the Fab angled grip. It has a nice rubber grip to it. I have a Crimson Trace flash light on my right side, lining up right below the muzzle. I have Magpul MBUS pro iron sights and a Romeo 5 red dot. Standard 30 round pmag or a 10 rd pmag. Good stuff, I may get a PSA Ar15, probably look into the 10.5".

If you’re having a chambering problem it might be something with your buffer and buffer spring setup, or if the bolt carrier needs to be cleaned and lube, but overall straight from the psa, it works amazing , just oil up your Bolt carrier group !!

Yes it should fit onto any other ar pistol brace !! you would need another Buffer tube I believe

I just added the SBA4 pistol brace to my new Saint Victor pistol...awesome brace! Make sure you purchase the brace with the buffer tube no matter whether its the 3 or 4 model. The buffer tube thats on your pistol is permanently on. Everything else you can transfer over to the new brace

i usually carry this in a 11.5 to 16 inch back pack. i usually have these in 2 separate parts, the upper and lower, but a bigger bag is recommended if you want to carry all put together lol

Amazon has a “savior equipment” bag for around 50$ in a few different sizes and colors ... also psa (palmetto state armory) has their bag on sale right now for around the same price and it has backpack straps on it and it comes in every color you could want aslong as it’s black 😂

The height is not bad ! It does not sit high and it can co witness my front sight perfectly ! With this holographic sight I feel more confident with my follow up shots, even though the flash happens every time I rapid pull 3-4 shots. Why would 9mm be an issue? It's a pistol setup, caliber is irrelevant. You can shoulder it according to current atf rules

I was going to get the same pistol but there are too many things I wanted to upgrade so I ended up building one piece by piece with parts I wanted. I would have had so so many extra parts I wouldn't use. I think your going to learn alot about how your gun works but it's just going to cost more in the end with extra parts.
