Awesome damn content. Anyone have any suggestions for a qd option for the magpul piccattinny bipod? I tried the three slot kinetic development but Christ there has to be another option.
@hdub6527 Жыл бұрын
Idk what it would be but there has to be a picatinny to atlas adapter that you could attach the mahout bipod to and then attach that to an arisaka rail slider. I have an arisaka rail slider for my atlas and love it. Move it between all my rifles.
@C_oprator89 Жыл бұрын
@@hdub6527 I shoulda got the damn 17s I friggin knew it when I ordered it but Magpul won’t just send the top part for me to switch it out. But Midwest industries has a pretty legit one for about the same price of the bipod but will work.
@wongkeebs4327 Жыл бұрын
A lil funky and kinda adds like 1.5" to the base height but the budget way I did is a magpul mlok to pic rail piece at the end of my rail, and then paired a picatinny magpul bipod with a picatinny QD off amazon. The expensive and less height adding way is using a ADM Mlok to picatinny QD adapter and pairing it with a mlok magpul bipod.
@christaylor4086 Жыл бұрын
I pulled my kenetic development qd deal.. got really frustrated with it.. running a 3 slot aluminum picatinny to a qd picatinny to picatinny. My magpull bipod is the picatinny version. Adds more height than the KD qd deal but it is a reasonably priced strong lockup that works much better.

There is an add on Illuminator that attaches to the Trijicon TA31 ACOG. The REM ACOG (Reticle Enhancement Module). It basically turns your TA31 into a TA02. It also covers half of the fiber optic so it helps reduce that reticle bloom in bright daylight. You will never have to buy chemlights anymore or need to replace the tritium. It is made of 30% glass filled polymer just like the AR pistol grips. Great Upgrade to the TA31.

My only advice to you would be to listen to men who've been deployed, not a LARP'r on a video. Any mil spec rifle will serve you well. Remember, it's the indian and not the arrow. You can easily spend thousands on useless gear, or you can spend that money on ammo and good training.... Ask yourself this: Are you gonna be deployed to some shithole to fight where your enemy is highly trained? No, chances are your rifle will be used to plink with and hopefully never be pointed at another man. Keep it simple, ounces equal pounds, pounds equal pain.

Excellent information that will save new shooters money on their purchases. You cant go wrong with any item these gentlemen suggested. I like a pistol grip thats more vertical as well. The best one I have found has been the beavertail vertical crossover grip by Driven Arms. Its the bee's knees especially if you have bigger hands. Thier smaller ultralight compact grip is excellent as well. Although there are several great options out there, my favorite charging handle is made by Badger Ordinance along with their ambi safeties. Still to this day, its hard to beat the Magpul CTR stocks because of the economical and well fitted risers. To each their own, but when the optic is raised the face must rise with it if consistency is important to you. No matter your preference, consistency is an important part of accuracy. A bit driver w/ all the bits you need for all of the screws on your rifle is good to carry. So is a paint can opener to pull out any stuck cases. And, if your not ising Loctite's primer with any Loctite younput on your rifle, switch to VC3 because it doesn't need a primer and isn't expensive. Loctite needs a primer if the metal is coated in any way.

I have a BAD lever on my standard lowers, primarily for locking the gun open but also for dropping the bolt during mag changes. But ive started aquiring the Griffin MK2 lowers. Its $200 but comes with the bolt and magazine controls so the cost ends up being cheaper than trying to ambi a standard lower.

Hey guys, Great show! Are there any tactical training outlets near you in FL that you would recommend? I live nearby, and the local range doesn't quite do it for me anymore. Cheers!

Here is one of my modifications. Buttstock. I hate the play and movement. So I go to Hobby Lobby and buy a sheet of brass. I cut it so it goes partially around the tube the square end and another at the top. I make sure it bends a L around the end so it does not move. Now if I am prone, shooting longer distances, it feels like a fixed stock.

If you ever have the chance to see it, Bill Blowers runs a Norgon that he extended with some JB Weld. It was a pretty slick mod. I learned the dust cover thing the hard way. It was a Buck Doyle Scoped Carbine class and he doesn’t pick places without wind. So yeah, 30 know full value wind with some sand. Yeah that makes a mess quick.

which height cheek riser do you run with your Eotech on the unity riser? Also do you cut it at an angle matching the front and rear angles on the full length piece? Thanks. Love your content

we run the lowest magpul riser, and just cut it in half. we just cut it straight down, no angle.

I have an original Springfield Armory Saint. What’s kind of sling works best for it ? It has BCM furniture with key mods on the for grip with old school A2 front sight. And I'm a lefty.
