Great video Andy. Your best yet. And I'm still amazed at your ability to put shots on steel at that range with open sights!

I’ve watched several of your videos. Wow you are a good shot with lots of experience! You also know each of your weapons! Thanks for all. I was amazed the two different 193 55gr cartridges made so different size groups. I never would’ve thought that. Learning a lot from u

I believe I seen every video you’ve made I would say this is really one of the best ones as far as how to zero essentially out to 1000 yards. Very informative thanks keep up the great videos. My only question is you must have some really thick glasses to be able to see that far out ? am I right? Take care be well. Keep the faith ...

I have used the shioctin 567 yard range and am thrilled that you feature it in your vids. Where can one go to shoot 1000 yards assuming living within driving distance of shioctin?
@PracticalAccuracy3 жыл бұрын
there are 2 options, but you have to google it. I can't link on youtube. Kodra's shooting range is open to the public and firearms academy of Wisconsin, which is private and expensive. Good luck.

Do you think a 15 yard zero would work for a 24 inch barrel? My rig is 1/8 twist aswell.
@PracticalAccuracy6 ай бұрын
Yes, if you shoot 15 yards or less or are shooting 350 yards plus. in between 15 and 350 your shots are extremely high relative to your point of aim.
@tylertapp1316 ай бұрын
@@PracticalAccuracy what would you consider the flattest zero for my 24 inch? Mabey from point blank out to 500?
@PracticalAccuracy6 ай бұрын
@@tylertapp131 You can't get a flat zero out to 500 yards. A flat zero (no adjustments in sights) will only work out to 300 yards. 50 yards is the best for that. Also, you will still be 3.5 inches low at 300 depending on your velocity.

@@PracticalAccuracy it's a 24 inch barrel 5.56, preciate the info

I want to know how you even saw the target?
@PracticalAccuracy3 жыл бұрын
The sun needs to be at your back or you won't see it. It looks like the tip of a ball point pen on top of your sight. I go over this in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/aX7Zi32Xj5aVsJY

how do you even see that far haha i need your eyesight. i can barely see a gong at 36 yards
@PracticalAccuracy2 жыл бұрын
I use contacts. Lol. It's actually easier than you think. I have a video, 0-800 yards, that goes over it. The peep actually helps you to see. Thanks for watching

54 clicks? I thought the M16A2 Rear Elevation wheel only has 25 clicks from being bottom flush at 8/3 -2 ...
@PracticalAccuracy8 ай бұрын
Depends on which rear sight you have. This is a National Match rear sight with 1/4" clicks and not 1/2" clicks.(thus twice as many clicks) Also, some sights will allow a few clicks more (52, 54, 56).
