I installed a Timney 3 pound, single-stage trigger in my LWRC and absolutely love it! This was my first AR and I could not believe the difference between the stock trigger and the Timney! I would always hear people talk about how much of an improvement a aftermarket trigger would be over the factory trigger, but really didn't understand until I saw it for myself. The best way for me to describe the difference is that a stock AR trigger is like a double action, striker fired pistol trigger and the Timney is like a crisp, light, 1911 trigger. Also it has been 100% reliable! Military green-tip, Tula steel case, all types of 223, not one single malfunction! The best upgrade you can make to your AR IMO!

SD3G is built for 3G and the manufacture explains it better than I could. The hi-speed NM trigger would do better at this test. Thank you for the video, I'm not trying to take away the credit you deserve.

I will say that I made up my mind and was going to purchase the SD3G until I saw this video. I went with the Timney and I love it. I can speak for the SD3G but I'm sure it's a great trigger as well, I'm just not a fan of all of the travel. I recently played with the ELFTMANN trigger at a store near me and man it felt good. I think that's going in my next build.

sehr schön da hat man mal einen guten vergleich wie die abzüge laufen. jetzt wären noch die eher seltenen interessant, wie der american gold und der wilson combat. und jetzt weiß ich auch das der geissele im vergleich zum timney längere wege macht und ich ihn deswegen nicht brauche.

In my view you can not say this as clearly. Timney, Geissele and JP are all execllent. But each has it´s own character. You can shoot all very quick and the trigger travel itself is not the deciding factor. As always: You will have to try yourself.

i like the standard 2 stage trigger all these fancy triggers are just that just a different style trigger but a little less pound to pull but over time lets say you have a 4lb pull it would decompress over time of a year or 2 to maybe 3.5-3lbs of pull i rather wear in the standard trigger or put a new trigger spring on it and it than spend 200$ on a trigger because anything mechanical over time does wear out such as springs and will need to be replaced
