7:47 Corey - no, speaker is not correct. If 2 Muslims want to get divorced in Israel, they proceed the same as if 2 Jews want to get divorced. They have the choice of going before the family (secular) beit din or the Sharia court that is under the Israeli Ministry of Religion. Whichever court receives the filing first is the deciding court. Spouses can also go to another entity, such as the Palestinian Authority or Jordan, and request a divorce under those courts - and some spouses (particularly men) do, because they think they will be treated more favorably before those courts, given rampant discrimination against women in those jurisdictions. Those courts are not supposed to accept the filings since they are out of their jurisdiction, but because many Jordanian and PA judges will often decide that an Israeli Islamic court is not valid, they will accept the filing. This filing often leaves an Israeli Arab woman scrambling to get proper representation far away from her home in a jurisdiction that discriminates against women. Nothing is really going to change that reality until Arab society gives more rights to women and until they hold a better view of Israel, which is decades away. That said, unless the couple owns land under the jurisdiction of Jordan (like in certain parts of Jerusalem), a Jordanian or PA court ruling in favor of the husband does not hold much sway in Israel. The major issue is if the woman or children travel abroad - the husband will often try to show the (invalid) court ruling from Jordan or the PA to falsely claim custody over the children.
@RifndjsklljuwhdnchAfacnxlaАй бұрын
Thanks you. I want to share too syariah court in Malaysia has caused a lot of problems for non Muslim in Malaysia when they are fighting child custody. In 2008, a non Muslim couple divorce and the mother is given child custody of her son by high court. One imam told the husband to convert to Islam and appeal the case in syariah court. He stole the kid and hid from the mother who was the sole legal parent. Then he converted to Muslim and also convert his child to islam. The syariah court stated children of a Muslim must follow the Muslim parent. Syariah court overwrite the high court jurisdiction. The child was stolen from the mother and the welfare ministry forbids the non Muslim mother to visit the child but the imams can go and see the child. This is how Muslim superiority in Malaysia causing un fair treatment towards non Muslim. It took the mother 9 years to get back her child, who is already an adult. 9 years of appeal to the federal court challenging the constitution, regarding children's conversion of religion can be only be done by approval of a parent.

her: My religion supports women alot Her religion: Women are like fields for men to plow, if she refuses to obey your command, then strike her. Women's testimony is worth half that of a mans. a woman cannot get a divorce, she can apply for one, but a man can divorce a woman whenever. Woman's inheritance is 1/4 of a man, and the rest must be divvied out to the MALES in the family. Women cannot pray during her menses, cause she might be dirty, and women cannot attend funerals, because there is a chance she is menstruating, and that's dirty.

God appears as an angel and a man in the Tanakh. Genesis 28:18-19 ESV [18] So early in the morning Jacob took the stone that he had put under his head and set it up for a pillar and poured oil on the top of it. [19] He called the name of that place Bethel, but the name of the city was Luz at the first. Genesis 28:12-13 ESV [12] And he dreamed, and behold, there was a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven. And behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it! [13] And behold, the Lord stood above it and said, “I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. The land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring. Genesis 31:11-13 ESV [11] Then the angel of God said to me in the dream, ‘Jacob,’ and I said, ‘Here I am!’ [12] And he said, ‘Lift up your eyes and see, all the goats that mate with the flock are striped, spotted, and mottled, for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you. [13] I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed a pillar and made a vow to me. Now arise, go out from this land and return to the land of your kindred.’” Genesis 32:24-25 ESV [24] And Jacob was left alone. And a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day. [25] When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched his hip socket, and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him. Genesis 32:30 ESV [30] So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, saying, “For I have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.” Hosea 12:3-5 ESV [3] In the womb he took his brother by the heel, and in his manhood he strove with God. [4] He strove with the angel and prevailed; he wept and sought his favor. He met God at Bethel, and there God spoke with us- [5] the Lord, the God of hosts, the Lord is his memorial name: (The angel is the man that wrestled with Jacob whom Jacob said was God. The angel was Yahweh God that appeared at Bethel. The angel is the God whom Jacob left and begged his favor and he prevailed against. This angel and man is Yeshua Jesus.)

What I understood from the video is that most interviewed people have no idea what they're talking about and don't actually miss anything. First guy talks about equal rights but doesn't state what rights of his are oppressed, as he's sitting in what looks like a mcdonalds eating in public in a city that is likely with an Arab majority too. The second guy talking about violence in the Arab sectors is absolutely correct but to fix that issue is to go to the roots of all the blood vengeance and these are things related to education, education beyond what we already have means the government will have to become active in what is going on inside of Arabs families and houses, if you want to solve family and community values related issues without letting the government into people's houses you will take a lot longer to reach a solution and it requires the civilians who live there to actively participate in discussions to solve it. The third - requires specifications for what he liked in what previous government did. The fourth - knows very well his representatives do a lot of bs that he best not bring up, like the way they deny that the holocaust happened, or when October 7th happened and they celebrated when nobody saw them and turned a blind eye when the horrors movie was shown to the Knesset, and many other things that even tie them to Hamas and Hezbollah on multiple occasions. Let's be realistic the Knesset members who are happy when Israelis are killed must never represent Israel, and his attempt to disregard it by saying he doesn't want to get involved is just turning a blind eye to the victims of the horrors his representatives allow and desire to repeat. These are normal Arabs in Israel, they live amongst us, they don't have a different life than the Jews or seculars, they may THINK they have it different, but that's because this is what they were told, just like my Jewish parents who were told the Arabs are bad and that they get better treatment than Jews in Israel etc, the hatred is based off of what we are told and what the news shows, and the news showed way too many terrorist attacks ending with the terrorist being in jail for couple of years in good conditions TV air conditioning and being able to even study from there, then when those terrorists get released after few years by negotiations they become the next Sinwar. Check his life in Israel's prison, exactly all of that. The Arabs probably get news that paint it as "Israelis did this bad thing and they leave unpunished so we hate them", basic brainwash the fault is on the judicial and law enforcement systems mostly and partially on government.
@foznews2340Ай бұрын
lookup the statistics on "arab" population in israel and come back to try justify it. There is a clear discrimination and if you don't feel it then that doesn't mean it is not there. You might get your education from israeli system and it won't be suprising if they paint the picture a bit rosey for you to live in peace with the action of your country, I get that and it is reasonable, Turkey does that too. The complaint against non-equality is about budgets: Hebrew-language schools in Jewish majority cities get more money per student than Arabic-language schools in Arab towns. These kind of distortions are caused by a combination of the education systems being separate entities, and elected governments pressuring to increase the budgets for their sectors. Of course as an individual they all have the same rights, and may send their children to whatever schools they want, but as a group they're being underfunded.

Israel Fun Fact: Genealogical tracking services are illegal in the state of Israel. You would think that they would be on every street corner, since each newcomer is curious about whether they are descendants of Noah. It is for this reason that they are illegal. Genealogical testing evidences the fact that ninety-five percent of the self-styled Jews in Israel are neither "Hebrew" nor of any semitic origin. that is to say, related to any indigenous population from the region. According to the genealogical, historical and linguistic evidence, the place of ancestral origin of Israelis is an area which was known as Khazaria, approximately where present-day Ukraine is located. Israelis are not “semites”, as they label themselves. They are in fact self-hating Khazars.

The issue is that Arab citizens in Israel often identify more as Palestinians than Israelis, feeling detached from the collective national identity. @charlesrosenberg8233Ай бұрын
It's more than just having more Arabs in the Knesset. Arabs have to be willing to part of a ruling coalition, rather than just sitting in the opposition. As part of a ruling coalition, Arabs have the opportunity to become ministers and perhaps IF they build their reputation, attain senior positions including being part of the Security Cabinet. Don't forget that under Israeli Law, the party that wins the largest number of seats in the Knesset gets the first chance to build a ruling coalition. The Israeli electorate is fragmented. A United Arab list of candidates for Knesset potentially could be the party with the largest number of seats. IF an Arab party has the opportunity to form a ruling Coalition AND the other Jewish parties fragment, it could potentially freeze the extremists out of power entirely.

@@mcb00 The issue is that Palestinians with Israeli citizenship (Arab Israelis) in the majority aren't sure what they want. From one side they see the existence of Israel as imposed on them and therefore in a national and religious struggle to undermine the existence of the Jewish majority state and change its character to "a state for all its citizens" by wiping its Jewish Zionist character - and from another point they want to keep the freedom that a democracy provides and the economic opportunities and advantages. The overwhelming majority of Israelis want equal civil rights for all Israeli citizens and the state see it as its interest that its minorities - the Arab community and the Ultra Orthodox Jewish community - will be fully integrated and play important role in the society while keeping their way of life. But that will never satisfy the national aspirations of the Arab minority within Israel. The tension arise from the national struggle.

However what you see in these videos is them being very careful with what they say they have to appear as neutral or even in some cases at base “Arab Israeli” because they are a minority and know if they speak out then it will be a problem for us inside. It’s not that we’re ideologically different it’s that we are scared and we are a minority with no resources. We have no choice but to bed the knee inside for now but that doesn’t mean we like Israel or support Israel. Most of us have family ties to ppl in Gaza and West Bank as well as Lebanon and Saudi Arabia and Jordan. We don’t like Israel and we don’t support Israel hence why all of us with exception of SOME bedouins and Druze do not join the Israeli occupational forces.

Lies. Many Arab Israelis proudly identify as such and reject the narrative you're pushing. Israel is not occupying shit. It's not occupying Gaza, and the West Bank was a part of Jordan before the Six-Day-War -- it was never an independent Palestinian state, as it never existed. The land Israel 'occupies' now is the result of a war started by others who tried to destroy Israel from the beginning. Don't twist history to fit a one sided agenda.
