Salaam, Ustadh. May Allah bless you abundantly. Re: The composition of Kaanna, since ka is a harf in its own right i.e a harf of jarr AND anna is also a harf (of nasb), could kaanna ever be considered jarr majroor meaning "like that."

It is best at this stage to stick with the standard definitions, as it will lead to more confusion. The Kaa'anna should be treated as a single partcile on its own right. If we start splitting and say that KA is a Harf of Jarr then it should have an ISM right after it. A Harf of Jarr is always followed by an ISM which is in Jarr.
