اكلت ..Akaltu it has an attached pronoun here..so it is understood that it refers to 1st person singular. if we want to say...we ate.. it would be اكلنا ( Akalna) if we want to say he ate..then u its..اكل( Akala) so at every step is understood who is eating..so why are u saying that اكلت ( Akaltu) only means ate? Akaltu can only mean I ate...its evident becos of attached pronouns..ضمير متصل
