I am probably going to switch to a different game myself. I spent money on getting the enchantments through bars and now, I am back at the beginning. No more money into this game.

@Marshall Odom - Thank you for seeing that too. This is in fact Advanced Diablo, not Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. Having played since at least before 2013 when it was pay to play, they've removed so much in the way of choice in the RPG in the game, I'm surprised you still get to choose the Paragon Path. I wish that they would bring the skill\spell trees back those would be real updates at this point. It would put the role play back in to RPG for this game where the player gets to make divisions for their characters growth vs. this "we want to make life easier for the player" non-sense - that's not why we chose to play the game, that's not why the communities have chosen to master their meta games and make it do what it do, against what the Dev's expected. So to better ensure we play the game the way they expect, they keep trying to adjust and retcon the rules, but they don't get that the players will figure out how to organically make it do what it do - cat and mouse style. I wish game companies would focus more on improvement and less on rebalance as it is never executed well, at lest never in a retcon sense. When a world has rules that players are made to live by and have successfully done and then the Dev's simply want to shake the box, they need to come up with a better solution then retconning world rules, don't they watch Anime, just introduce a new enemy that is just as bad as the last guy that no one saw coming that needs a new power to defeat, so the old ones still have their place, and the new ones have theirs and so on, that's how that works: tools of the era's is the key phrase here and that's the solution to the problem they should attempt to work in when they want to shake the box. But I ain't one to gossip... .

I know this is probably another money grab but the alternative would have been to increase max rank on our current enchants to like 20 and mythic so this may be more efficient. Can't really complain since we should already know every time a new mod comes out we get new stuff that will mess with our stats just glad my zen exchange should go through sometime this month.

Yeah, ofc. They were always going to make enchants be upgradeable, to mythic. It's been along while since we had higher than rank 15 available. Now they basically made 3 rank 15's equal 1 rank 2, which we can upgrade to rank 5 mythic. So it's a way to give ppl the ability to upgrade their characters and soend more money on the game.

I have been playing since 2013 beta, I have been on and off. I have seen a lot being done to the game. I always find some curiosity and I return and invest time and money over and over again. There aren't many as old as me anymore. And I can tell you that as an old player this change is just another in a long line of big changes. I kept playing because I wanted. Not because Cryptic or Perfect World made me. So, in fact it all comes down to a choice. You either continue playing or you don't. Should I remind you that you agreed to an EULA ? Have a read. You will understand. MMORPGs are never their players property. Its always up to them to continue feeding money and playing or quit. What happens to the investment so far ? Well, if you played this far you enjoyed. That was what you played for. Some fun time with other people. In the end that is it. Also, its a F2P game which means that to progress at an acceptable non frustrating rate you need to invest real money. It is what is is. You still can stop playing if you want. But don't expect being reimbursed. Also, if you don't like the changes the game company has a forum where you can politely discuss the changes. Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!

If someone disagrees with the games policy it's in their right to actively discourage others from falling for the same trap. The game is trash, not only does it drain peoples wallets through nefarious monetary manipulation but it conditions it's player base and converts them into introverted zombies so people feel like they are trapped by their investments and then throws all that in the bin so they can proceed with their primary agenda of harvesting the communities data and selling it to corporations who use it to learn how to trick people into buying unnecessary and overpriced products and goods. You are aware how much money they make from the economic and social information mined from this game? The zen store is marginal in comparison. Information is their true intention and they need to refresh the system to obtain it by forcing long term players (Who have nothing left to harvest) to cycle out of the community for fresh players to elevate themselves higher in the algorithmic programmes that mine the analytics of our activity. This game is corrupt beyond imagination. It's only fun to distract how corrupt it really is, no one would invest in something for the simple factor of our enjoyment, no one cares about anyone that much. TESO was an example of how a company also turned a successful franchise into an mmo for obviously the same reasons. Also, that is why World of Warcraft still goes on despite being old... That is the exact truth. People invest and then they feel tied to an investment they do not really own. You are welcome to discourage people to join of course. But in the end... They might like it, be naive, start the free to play game and then once they realise they spending money to overcome obstacles. And thus they are hooked. But even all that it's still their choice... No matter how much you warn some will fall prey to those company strategies. I prefer the pay to play, I feel it's the fair strategy, companies need money and it's fair that we pay for their work. LOL but TRUTH is that OLD, VETERAN players, BIS, STILL STAY in game after each changes. They are bis and bis more just in days after changes. Quit players new and those who played year or two and ALMOST get good il, gems and gear but changes nerfed them to 0. AGAIN. In my guild all the time are the ppl who started play in Neveer 6 years ago and are quick bis after every change. But me is poor now again. I still have r9 gems in armor and weapon cos hav no resources for upgrade or buy ma r. After over year I just got all r15 in rest of gear. Now I'm reset to 0 with my gems... I put all my resources into upgrade collars and insignias to get min 50k il for reaper... not it all just gone. It is reason that I stopped upgrade my toon and I'm weak and minimal with everything and do only pugs random q cos nobody want my low dmg dps nowhere.

Also strange...in the past mods Demogorgon (trial) couldn't even dent my Paladin. He just dropped me 5 times in a row and I promise my stats and damage reduction powers are on point. Did he suddenly get a bonus to armor penetration? After I died he wiped the team to include the other tank so I know it's not just me. What other weird stuff did Mod 22 bring?

Yeah they changed it up. I made a video on the mechanics, I suggest you watch it. He now gives you debuf stacks which causes you to take more damage, you need the other tank to take the aggro until your debuff is gone

What sucks is the lose of weapon enchantment variety. I miss having my warlock using a chain lightning enchantment for my dps loadout and a holy avenger in my healer loadout .Cryptic should have thought this one out better, I don't mind getting rid of the lesser stat enhantments because those stats were a pittance anyway, just let us keep our weapon and armor enchants!

I'm returning after 2 years. I played for 3+ years prior. I had each class maxed with their own enchantments. Had almost every weapon and armor enchantment. But I can say what you said about the diversity of options, I can say they have been streamlining everything and getting rid of options, especially unique ones. You used to roll stats, now every class has the same. The feats used to be really diverse and unique and now you have 5. (There were 3 path options for each class and a bunch of options within each path) then the boons we're even unique. Skt had a cool one. But they changed all that. It was sad when they did that. Was a very unique game. There were build options and different ways to play, but they slowly started making it to where there's one endgame build for each class. I hope they have plans to start doing something to give options so every rogue isn't the same, every wizard the same, every cleric etc...

All weapon and armor enchantments are strictly cosmetic now. They won't do anything. They will just be for visual effects now.

I am now at 2 fucking days that i lost my daily key because neverwinter totally broken with the lunch of mod 22 which is causing totaly screen freezes and neverwinter ui to be come not responcive at least on the ps4 as of february 2 2022

@@warrengomeswg they say that r10 enchantment and up are tradable. The higher the rank = more medallion. For wep and armor its r11 and up.

Rejoined the game after 3 years I'm lvl 20 ,lost all my gear and they replaced it with item lvl 200 stuff and my enchantments are useless now really makes me want to regrind all my gear again

you can do some of the adventures and you'll get loot and gear. If you had rank 10 or higher enchants you can trade them for new ones with higher il
