Happy for him. He gave a lot of years to his idol life and fans now that he is getting older it is time for him to make his life and have a family. I saw some fans were happy for him. Idols are human they should have the opportunity to date an all. Which in kpop wouldn't be possible because fans tend to think they own the idol (which is sad). Hope changes happen and idols get to date freely.

Right?? They’re human too! I’m sure they’re all secretly dating behind the scenes, but it’s a shame they have to hide it and then apologize to their fans for “surprising” it on them.

I'm months late but I got hooked on Arashi for a month now. Nino did his charm and it worked on me. So I was wondering if any of the Arashi members got married because, y'know their not getting younger and oh boy I was so happy that Nino got settled down. I really liked the fact that they're giving time for themselves.

The best comment that someone has had in favor of these people that due to the fact that they spend so much time to make an effort highlighting so many gifts they put aside their personal life, they still deserve to love someone and be loved, accepted by their emotions, their feelings and but to form a home, a family. So I only started discovering Japanese dramas a year and a half ago, I'm 54 so way behind! Only this November because KZbin knows I now like Japanese music did I come across Arashi. Love them - I've seen most of them in a drama so was surprised to learn how long they'd been together. It's really a shame that fandoms are so strong to react negatively. I sincerely wish the best for these guys. They have obviously given a lot of themselves and everyone deserves some happiness. Sad to hear they are taking a break, and whatever that leads too, but enjoying the music and it will always be here. At my age I've seen a lot of actors/artists I've loved get married, I've been crushing on guys since the 1970's but never once can I imagine being cruel to them or the partners they pick.

When i heard about the news i was shocked, sad and happy at the same time. I am shocked to know he was married, i was sad thinking if he might left arashi but i am so happy that he has someone that truly love him and he truly loves outside of screen

I know little about j-pop bands, or these two people. But it makes me happy to know some of the restrictions on performers lives may be lifted. It is better for the fans, performers and the whole culture of Japan to view these singers as talented humans, rather than a thing to be worshiped.

Aunque la noticia es de hace una semana me alegró mucho saberlo. Estos hombres han trabajado duro por muchos años en la industria del entretenimiento y ,sin duda, sacrificaron muchas cosas para llegar donde están. I am a huge fan of Arashi since 2007-08, and Nino was my first "ichiban." When I heard the news today from another fan, I was shocked, but so many mixed feelings about it. I am now into Aiba, so the blow Neen dropped today wasn't as hard as the fan who told me the news.
